8/10We enjoyed the food, it was tasty, fresh and well prepared. The service was very efficient, friendly and courteous. We especially appreciated their willingness to accommodate requests for vegan dishes. Our only disappointment was that the space was very smoky; our clothes smelled of the restaurant the next day. If it's possible, it would be good if they could ventilate the space better. We might think twice about coming back because of this. Otherwise, we'd give the restaurant good marks and would like to be able to come back again.

10/10We visited Root Spice whilst on a two night break in Bath for our wedding anniversary we had checked out the reviews and liked what we saw I had the duck and my husband had the lamb shank both were delicious. All the staff were very friendly and professional and we chatted to the owner on our way out. It was definitely an anniversary to remember. Thank you very much we will definitely visit when we are in Bath again.

7/10Went to Root Spice on a Saturday night, table of 6, and were sat in the corner of the lower level. The food was excellent and for that reason we may return- unfortunately the noise, particularly as our table was below a speaker, made conversation very difficult. The service was patchy, sometimes efficient, sometimes involving extended delays. I appreciate that Saturday nights are busy, but feel that a little more organisation would have gone a long way.

10/10Best Jalfrezi I've ever had, and I've had a few! Please give this restaurant a try if you find yourself in Bath. Great location and wonderful food with excellent service. You won't be disappointed

The food was really good I had chicken tikka starter and King Prawn Patia for main it was delicious . If ever visit Bath again will definitely return. Also did my favourite drink Kir Royale so win win for me.

10/10This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Although it is somewhat hard to find, once you enter it is very nice. Great ambiance, very pleasant staff and the food is really good. Excellent flavors and the plates look almost too beautiful to touch.

10/10Great food with deep flavours & spot-on spicing - really tasty & enjoyable. We also had very good service & attention during our lunchtime visit. The restaurant is very comfortable with a interior that nods towards industrial but not in a stark way. It is well fitted with old & new touches. A pleasure to eat here, thanxx.

10/10Amazing Indian food with a little twist. Very nice staff. Newly opened place with nice décor and nice views. Hope that more people find this gem that can be a bit difficult to find, only a door with a staircase leading down to the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Well, the entire experience. The food was exceptional, the staff, the ambiance, the location...everything. We arrived early because we had a play that evening and we were truly pleased. It reminded us of the Tamarind in Mayfair when they first opened. If this restaurant was in London it would give the Tamarind some real competition!

This is a wonderful restaurant. We throughly enjoyed our meal, which was spiced perfectly for us (not too hot!). All of the dishes were delicious. The Peshawari naan was a special delight. The service was excellent.
