We have eaten here loads and it’s always been a favourite but this time was quite disappointing x the service was ok and the food ok but not as good as before x we had to ask for drinks and once they had served dinner no one came to ask if we wanted more drinks, if our dinner was ok, if we wanted a coffee or dessert x the toilets were very dirty and there was a few tables of men and there really should be a men and woman’s toilet as they left it is a disgusting state Doubt we will return

The staff were amazing and accommodated all 22 of us for our Christmas party. They were very kind and regularly checked if we needed any drink top-ups. The food was delicious, and I would definitely recommend the restaurant to others.

Christmas Eve Lunch and a limited menu. Veggie Thali, Meat Thali and Fish Thali. I had the meat one and my friend had the vegetarian one which we enjoyed enormously. I can understand it being Christmas but the option choices on offer, some people who came for a meal decided to leave. The other problem was the restaurant was cold as there appeared to be no heating on. Please Royal Tandoori in future try to warn customers over menus at Christmas and please put some heating on IT IS WINTER

The food and service was superb, the only thing that was a bit disappointing was the condition of the toilets, they definitely require some attention, it wouldn’t stop me from returning though as the food and service was amazing, sort the toilets out and it would really be up there as one of the best Indian restaurants in Reading

We have been coming to the Royal Tandoori for more than 6 years. Their service, quality of food and ambience of the restaurant has always been excellent. Have normally always booked on the phone but for the first time booked online with The Fork. When we spoke with the staff last night they guessed it was us and we had our usual table. Very enjoyable evening as usual.
