The food was overall quite good. The roasted duck fried rice had an outstanding flavor—crispy skin and juicy meat, absolutely delicious! Additionally, the waiter provided excellent service. A good Thai Restaurant

4/10Staff were friendly helpful and nice. Food was ok not everyone enjoyed their meal some dishes lacking flavour. Main issue is the environment it needs updating and cleaning, especially the stairwell and toilets these were not clean not as you would expect for a restaurant in St Albans or indeed anywhere.

10/10The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the owners and staff are all so friendly and lovely. The food was delicious too, with lots of vegan options available. When I said I was unable to eat the prawn crackers as I'm vegan, they provided me with plant-based ones instead. And as it was my birthday my friends and I were also given free dessert. You can tell that the owners really care about their customers and want to provide the best food and experience possible.

9/10We brought our cavapoo Milo to the restaurant and he was treated so well and welcomed by all the staff. The layout of the restaurant is lovely for a large group with lovely decor. Finally the food was tasty and portion sizes were excellent.

5/10Very disappointing meal. Mixed starters for 2 very tiny. Thai fish cake was cold - didn’t complain at this stage as only one thing. Prawn panang curry came out - prawns cold sauce only tepid. Although it did taste nice once hot. They zapped it. Sticky rice was a joke, came out so over microwaved that you’d need a knife to cut it. Replaced with Jasmine rice and almost tried to charge for the rice that was inedible. Then waitress tried to say we’d ordered wrong rice for the dish we were having. Also place smells really damp. Definitely won’t be returning.

10/10Great Food and service. We had a dairy intolerant guest and a shellfish allergic guest. Both were catered for easily .

10/10My boyfriend and I had a wonderful evening at Sala Thai to celebrate our 4th anniversary. Although the restaurant didn’t know we were celebrating, the quiet and intimate atmosphere made it perfect for a special night. The food was absolutely lovely—fresh, flavourful, and well-prepared. It was also great value for money. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. We will definitely be going back again :)

6/10The restaurant has recently opened and the owners husband was overseeing everything but the staff don’t know dishes and are not experienced in serviced. The mango dessert was just like I have in Thailand however the other dishes were slightly bland and lacked the subtle herb flavouring I love in Thailand We would return as it is early days for this restaurant.

5.5/10We went last week fir dinner. Some dish was delicious, the red and green curry, but the stir fry was very disappointing. Even though the service was not excellent the girls were very kind and nice, but in the end we felt rushed out . Very surprised by the fact the VAT was added to our final bill. Not sure it was stated in the menu.

Hi Floral, Sorry that you feel rushed out in the end. The VAT is part of the price, not adding extra. Says if you ordered Pad that £13.95, the price is included VAT. At the end just sepearte to show the VAT out fir a tax purposes, you didn't pay extra. Many thanks for a feedback, we will keep improving our service. So glad that you enjoyed the food.
