Noisy restaurant service slow run by young kids no wine glasses as all being used my customers as bring your own bottle. Which is good if they were enough for other customers feel manager should be on board to run it little better.

Great wee place, pleasant ambience and the food was amazeballs, fiancee had the mushroom risotto and it was just perfect for flavour and sauce wasn't too rich, and the pizza I had with peppers, spicy chicken and Italian sausage was also great and the cheese garlic bread was brill, staff are very friendly and very attentive but not in your face , Defo recommend and next time we are back home visiting family we will be back.

Lovely small restaurant with really nice well presented food . Also has a good variety of dishes . Great to be able to bring your own bottle of wine along ( small corkage charge.

Staff were excellent. Unfortunately the food was slow in being served. The reason for slowness we were told was staff shortness. I would have thought they would have cut back on number of customers they allowed in.

First time visiting Sam's but it won't be our last. Food was amazing, we ordered so much and had to take some home. Very friendly staff, great service and great tunes. Would highly recommend Sam's.

I was not prepared for a local restaurant to be that good if I’m honest, however from the moment my wife and I arrived, the service was excellent, we were immediately bought complimentary bread, olives, and balsamic olive oil along with our menus - the oil and bread was excellent. Drinks order taken and promptly served, and the server was comfortable giving us some extra time to choose our food. We shared a started of chicken strips (just as well as the portion was BIG) We both ordered a pasta dish which were very flavoursome and again a big portion. I “bullied” my wide into having tiramisu with a latte, while I took the managers advice and had the velvet cake and a dopia espresso Once again the portions were very generous, and the coffee excellent. The bill was very fair for the food and the service and I was happy to pay it and leave a tip. One thing that stopped it being perfect (IMO) was the lack of a bit of Italian music, but others may take that as a positive :) Wishing you every success , Mick & Fiona
