9/10We would rate the food and service as very good, excellent in fact. It's very quiet inside, it would benefit from some background music, we could hear the conversation of the other 3 tables. Also, very cold. I know it's January but I had to wrap my scarf around my body. Dress warm! it's a shame as the rest of the evening was perfect.

10/10We were a group of 10, celebrating after a visit to the Pantomime. Sapori di Casa provided a lovely large nearly square dining table in a quiet part of the restaurant. Service and food were excellent.

4/10The setting was nice and the welcome friendly, after that it all went wrong. The waiter had no idea what was available when we ordered and on starters and Main courses we had to choose again. It was my birthday dinner and out of the 4 of us no-one enjoyed any aspect of our 3 course meal. The food that arrived didn't resemble the menu description I won't bore readers with all the detail. Never again.........

2/10It was an absolute shambles. We left and did not eat. We were sat there for 25 minutes and they had not even taken a drinks order. The waiter was waiting the whole restaurant by himself. A gentleman left before us as he was served the incorrect cold dish after waiting an hour. They were evidently poorly staffed and had zero customer service. There was no apology or explanation. It was a celebratory dinner & ruined the evening.

9/10This Italian was a great find. The service was superb from the welcome when we arrived right to the very end . The food was lovely, thoroughly recommend the meatballs and the wild boar risotto. And the apple cheesecake was the best cheesecake I have had in a very long time. We will definitely be coming back, now we have found it right on our doorstep

Lovely setting, very tranquil, beautiful gardens, restaurant was lovely, very oldie worldly, plenty of choice on menu, had difficulty deciding and dishes we choose was excellent, food absolutely gorgeous, waiters were amazing, very friendly, went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after, we’ve already booked to go back, would definitely recommend

9.5/10On arrival we spoke with the staff and said we had a booking and was offered 2 different tables which was good but on the other hand surprising as we didn’t give our name or booking reference. The rest of the evening was excellent.

4/10Disappointed with my booking. Have seen this place for years and wondered what is was like so thought I would surprise my girlfriends to a relaxed and chatty evening but the restaurant had no atmosphere and our food was left half eaten. It was clearly a part of the hotel and happy that is has business people staying. A health and safety issue arose

4.5/10Very poor food, expensive for what it is small portions for £15 for a lasagna I would’ve thought you would’ve got some garnish or garlic bread I’m not just dish a portion up in the middle of the plate very small portions The lasagna itself was very dry my part I couldn’t eat it so overall poor

7.5/10We thought the food was good and the waiter was excellent. It was unfortunately very quiet. We were the only customers and some of the lights were not switched on giving the whole experience a somewhat lack lustre feel. Whilst the food was good it was also missing one or two simple touches that would have given it more of a wow factor. It wouldn’t take much to change the experience into something special.

3/10The restaurant was cold and not very clean . The food was dreadful clearly a frozen pizza not fresh and burnt .grey veal and hard vegetables . About as close to Italian food as the moon.

8.5/10Highish end restaurant and the food is consistently excellent. Very quiet on the night we went so ambiance was a little lacking, but genuine Italian muzak was entertaining. Great place for a special meal out.

10/10This was the first time we had eaten in the restaurant, although we had previously attended two parties in the conference suite. The traditional italian food was delicious, the host welcoming friendly and appropriately attentive, and the ambience was first class. We will definitely be back soon! Many thanks, highly recommended

9/10Excellent food - that along with Tony the waiter we felt like we could've genuinely been in Italy! The menu was excellent value with the Veal being a particular highlight.
