Un ambiente dal tono rustico, un gradevole dehors per la stagione estiva, in un tranquillo cortile dove il rumore del traffico quasi scompare. Qui il menu non serve, il cavallo di battaglia sono i taglieri di salumi e formaggi di alta qualità, di piccole produzioni di nicchia, di salumi o produzioni casearie mai banali che il titolare, il signor Beppe, da vero anfitrione, sa spiegare con grande competenza e passione.

Salumi cotti e crudi, carpacci, trionfi di lardo e pancetta, bresaole, prosciutto crudo, speck dai masi altoatesini… E poi formaggi “ubriachi”, burratine e ricotte, caciotte e primosale, insomma un percorso del gusto che attraversa tutta l’Italia, con prodotti che tutto il mondo ci invidia. La degustazione dei taglieri lascia pienamente soddisfatti per varietà e dosi, accompagnata da buon pane rustico, sottoli, miele, frutta secca e una selezione di vini più che consona. E a fine pasto, Vinsanto e cantucci toscani.

    The best cold cut platters in Milan. Definitely!. The world’s best fennel salami, delicious salami with amarone wine, cooked ham from angus beef, rabbit ham, great coppa, porchetta with truffles and so much more. Everything was excellent. So many varieties of cold cuts and always an explanation what is so special about it, where it comes from and what to eat first and last. The service was also excellent. Guiseppe is such a great host and story teller. Every time we come back to Milan, a visit to Sapori Stellari is a must. Wish we would have a place like this in Germany. Highly recommend visit, but you have to understand Italian to follow the descriptions and explanations. FIVE stars!

    The restaurant although a bit far from other places is a gem! The servers are really nice and the owner is something else. We all felt at home being with family eating here. Food is great and I was catered to since I don’t eat pork. We will definitely go back when we are back in Milan. Keep it up guys!!
