10/10We stumbled in here during a heavy rain and wanted to wait it out while having drinks. The staff is exemplary, the service impeccable and the drinks sublime. We returned the following week for dinner with friends and again, nothing but the very best.

10/10In my humble opinion, one of the best Italian restaurants in London! It’s like being in Italy while in the UK! Food is fabulous (I challenge you to find a better Tiramisu anywhere), ambience fantastic and service exceptional - all by Italians! (hence my comment about being it Italy). When I’m in London and desiring Italian, I go no where else!

10/10My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Sartoria for dinner during our stay in London. Centrally located and close to Fortum & Masons this Italian restaurant was featured on Stanley Tucci’s Italy series. Our meal was excellent as was the friendly, professional service. Starting with the homemade breadbasket and a glass of superb Chianti Classico. The variety of fresh breads was delightful and tasty. I ordered a spring salad, something simple but often ruined at many restaurants by drenching the plate in dressing. This was not the case here, as the dressing was perfectly proportioned to the greens. My wife ordered the Scottish Lobster Tagliolini with Amalfi lemon chilli basil, and I had the Cacio e pepe Tagliolini with Black Truffles. Both dishes were superb. The pasta, house made, was cooked al dente and the portions were just the right size. I can not say enough good things about Sartoria except that Stanley was 100% correct in recommending this restaurant. One note of caution. We made our reservation through Fork. When we arrived, the restaurant had no record of the booking. Make your reservation directly with the restaurant.

7.5/10My one suggestion would be to have another look at your bread/grissini selection - it is all rather bland and tasteless. Otherwise the food and wine are unfailingly good.

10/10For a light and quiet lunch (let alone a more red blooded affair) where you can hear properly and be unrushed this is an excellent place. what is delightful is that neither me or my guest wanted a big lunch and we must have been disappointingly small spenders on our fizzy water and single courses with coffee, but the approach of the staff, from waiters to coat check, was just excellent, treating us as highly valued at all times despite the low spend. As a result this has become a favourite of mine when lunching in that area.

9.5/10I’m Italian and I love in London. Our dinner was very good. The quality of the food it’s great and it’s a real Italian taste. I loved the spaghetti alla chitarra with row Mazzara prawn. The tagliata was really good as well.

4/10Best way to describe it: soulless. Don’t know if any recent change of ownership, systemic, or just bad luck with the manager in charge for the dinner run on Friday December 8th … just so, so poor I had enjoyed the venue a few times, and booked a table for 5 for some relatives joining us from overseas. We ended with one guest more than planned, but were lucky we had a large round table, where the fit was obviously possible … or were we? From the moment I approached the manager I could see he wasn’t there to help - started with an spatially absurd argument about the additional chair interrupting the “flow” (imagine - round table, 1 chair more … how ????), to then move to the even “better” argument of no 1 chair of any kind available in the full restaurant (restaurant, kitchen, office … nothing …. really ???) … couldn’t have been more unpleasant and unhelpful Anyway, given the bad fast-food service attitude, we were actually happy to take our business elsewhere, and ended having a wonderful dinner at a nearby venue Sorry I cannot rate the food this time (maybe has also changed and not as good) but, in any case, do AVOID if you can … plenty of good restaurants in London, with great service which is adequate to their prices Shame … soulless
