7.5/10The food was good, a little on the pricey side but not unusual for the neighbourhood. Atmosphere was a little bit cold but that may have been because we were there for lunch.

4/101. Poor reception 2. Poor customer service at the bar, (as the barman took half my partners order then began another conversation with someone else). 3. A rushed service. 4. Dry food. ( I saw waiter bring out main before previous course completed.) Did not leave feeling like I had just had a good experience Robert

4/10Beef was okay. Vegetables very bland.. Yorkshire pudding was massively overcooked and very crispy as a result, cauliflower cheese was super watery. Actual restaurant was super empty so no real ambiance whatsoever, maybe 1 other larger table and a couple of tables of 2, the atmosphere felt a little awkward if anything.

8.5/10We went for a Sunday roast lunch; the room is light and airy, the service was excellent, and the food a good selection of vegetables along with three roasts to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed it. (Only complaint is that the small bottle of Coke, which came from the bar, cost over £4.50...more than a half-pint of beer.)

5.5/10Sunday lunch - chicken was a chicken roll and hardly a roast, potatoes were meagre and again barely roasted, very few vegetables and a dry and hard Yorkshire pudding. Service was mixed - gravy change was extra cost, no salt and pepper (empty restaurant at this point), wine so so, cauliflower cheese dry, had to shout at waiter for attention which was awkward esp as nobody else around! Partial refund offered but it all should and could have been much better without much effort.

An excellent find just a small walk away from the main bustle of the museums. Well looked after and a lot of effort out into making sure you feel like you are having an exclusive experience. The price of food and wine was really reasonable considering the quality of it, was expecting it to be much more expensive. Will definitely return

2.5/10The food was appalling with unapologetic manageress. We’d given them a second chance after the very same thing happened on a previous Sunday. Undercooked food and bottled water that is clearly straight from the tap as they refuse to open it in front of you so it arrives with no cap on. We will not be returning.

we had the sunday roast (beef) and the lamb. Everything about these dishes was delicious: the meat, the veggies, the side, the gravy... Very well seasoned, cooked to perfection.

10/10The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself was spacious but comfortable. My American friends were delighted with 'English' food which was presented in an elegant fashion and was tasty. Most importantly, no quibbling when I pointed out that they had not deducted the 20% discount on the A La carte menu.

9.5/10The service from the team there was akin to a high class restaurant. Relaxed yet classy. Aadi our waiter was fun but tentative. We had early dinner at 5pm so it was quiet but As a little family we felt comfortable and enjoyed our time here.

5/10Our food was cleared before we’d even finished it. The waiter did not speak ANY English. The female manager was totally unsympathetic and non apologetic. We won’t be returning.

4/10Service was shocking. There were exactly 6 people dining in the whole restaurant yet it took 15 mins to even get a drinks menu let alone a drink, slow service continued. After that, when the mains were ordered , 1 of them was forgotten. The waiter argued that we didn't order four meals, and had forgotten that he'd come back to the table post order to ask the person in question how they wanted their steak cooked, and then didn't place the order!! Shocking, sort of thing you'd expect somewhere cheap.

+5Located in Radisson building at Gloucester Road with a separate entrance up half a flight of stairs. On entry is the bar area with a more informal Set up. As it was lunch they seated me at the bar seating. There is a more formal seating area in the next room which looked all set up for the evening dining. A number of menus: the Ala carte and the euro 24 menu. Choose for the Ala carte as the euro 24 menu was fixed items. The duck salad starter was not crispy as noted by its name: Crispy duck salad! The salad greens did not suit the dish as was too bitter added to the pomegranate and the grape fruit. Shredded or pulled duck meat was average. All in all an average dish. Service was average.

10/10A genuine welcome on arrival gave a measure of the service-from entering the venue to departure the staff were all kind, professional and helpful. Our meal and drinks were high quality, tasty and served effortless by the staff. Enough choice on the menu for ourselves which was fine as every serving was delicious. The building a delightful atmosphere, calm and spacious, minimal decor with a few quirks. The cleaning staff deserve a mention as the place was spotless. Finally excellent value for money and probably quite exceptional for the postcode. We actually left an extra £10 on top of the service charge. We were going to a show at RAH and the walking distance is ideal-10 minutes . This gave our evening a fine start. Recommend to friends and family

6/10Staff were pleasant. Drink order was wrong twice. Wine wasn't chilled so had to have ice. Food was ok, we had fish and chips. Fish and chips were nice enough but the peas that were not mushy and the sauce were tasteless.

9.5/10Staff are lovely, seems to be chilled and forgot gave us cutlery twice but soon after they made it up. The kitchen was able to cater my wheat and diary free needs. Food ingredients seems to be thoughtfully sourced. I had sea bass and side greens, the broccoli and kale was nicely done with garlic. The duck salad starter has a good amount of duck. My father and son loved their burgers. The aldult burger has got way more in it. Over all a nice experience.

6.5/10Conveniently located and came recommended. We had the chicken Milanese which was good but the potato portion was very small. Also the table was not designed for eating, very low and the metalwork meant you couldn't put your legs anywhere!

Went for early dinner as we were going to a performance at the Royal Albert Hall. Not many people in so we were seated in the bar area as the main restaurant was not open. There was no prix fixe menu available so we had to order à la carte. The food was nice but not remarkable - french onion soup/goats cheese salad for starters and veggie wellington/sea bass for mains. The veg served with the Wellington were tepid - too long on the pass maybe? Sadly no alco free beer which you would expect in a hotel restaurant like this. Staff were friendly and service was good.

9/10This is the second Scoff and Banter restaurant I've been to. The service was very quick. Which was gr8 but I could have [personally done with a little more time between the meals, just personal preference]. Food was hot and very tasty. Staff attentive enough. The tables was a little disappointing not proper table for dinning as I usually sat at [as in the other one]. Nevertheless a lovely birthday meal for myself. Would definitely go back .
