9.5/10We booked Scully’s for a pre theatre dinner following the positive recommendations we saw on The Fork. We were not disappointed from the lovely warm welcome we received from front of house to the delicious food As it was our first visit the menu was expertly explained we followed the recommendation to share all our food was exceptional. It was lovely to see the food prepared in the open kitchen in a professional and stress free manner we weren’t kept waiting and finished in plenty of time for the theatre we will definitely return

10/10From the moment we arrived to the time we left - leaving the kitchen brigade eating their own well deserved meal - this place delivers great tastes, easy going but attentive service and a glow that you’ve had a special time out.

9.5/10It was a lovely relaxed environment when we arrived really early. The staff were welcoming and warm but also very efficient. The food was inventive and delicious and mouth watering. Very conveniently located. Was feeling a bit more crowded and noisy by the time we left but rookie weren’t yelling above music etc. A lovely find

3.5/10I took the TASTING MENU and the NON ALCOHOLIC pairing. Service was mixed. Pairing was good but clumsy and not synchronized with the dishes. Had to ask 3 times for them. The restaurant was not full at the time. Signature dish was full of flavours (Arepa, Eggplant sambal, Bergamot Labneh) but then I got the BBQ Corn Fed Chicken, Turnip cake, Cubeb pepper caramel SERVED RAW … PINK !!! I had timid excuses … they didn’t take my plate away. Two times, I was expected for them to take away my plate and replace it with something else. No … no … no … they took their time and asked me timidly if I want a piece of fish instead ?? REALLY !! I was hungry and wanted to eat something. Lucky me as I had ordered an extra dish (not part of the tasting menu) and they told me that they will not charge me at the end (small gesture 12£ but they charged me 20£ for service :( at the end). I got stuck with my plate with the raw chicken in it for 15 more minutes. THE EXPERIENCE WAS DEFINITELY A LET DOWN. I WON’T GO BACK !!!!

6.5/10The restaurant was empty when we arrived for our reservation. We were not attended to as promptly as we should have been. Another table was seated not too long after us and were served right away. When a restaurant is as empty as this with plentiful staff, service should have been much better. Our plates were not cleared or changed after each course. We had to ask for this. With food this pungent and flavorful, plate changes should be a given. We also had to repeatedly ask for water. There was a very cursory explanation of each dish, and the recitations were rushed and rote. The dishes were so unusual, it would have been nice if the servers acted as if they cared. When Chef Sully appeared, we were very excited to have the opportunity to perhaps speak with him. He spoke with the staff, then stopped by the only other table in the restaurant. For some reason, he did not come over to our table. We had really wanted to meet him, so I asked if he was still around and was told by a staff member that he was just outside. In fact, he was not. As for the food, it was sublime. The care in creating every dish and every plate was obvious. The beef tendons were truly outstanding, accompanied by the pancetta tomato ragu and and a flavorful oyster mushroom mayo foam. My favorite was the cucumber salad graced with mango, coconut and buttery sunflower seeds. Wow! My only culinary complaint is that every dish with oyster mushrooms was far too heavily salted and many dishes contained these. Also, the lamb dish was prepared primarily with lamb that consisted of only gristle and fat. The misses were serious.

10/10Amazing food. Pricey, but excellent. The vegetarian dish I had as a main course was the best I had during my stay in London, and the beef entree was to die for. Excellent place.

9.5/10Delicious meal and excellent service. Coming here for a birthday celebration was something of a risk but I had been attracted by an innovative looking menu and so booked for an early evening dinner. We were both delighted by the intelligent and attentive service and the extraordinary tastiness of the meal. We found we had to tuck away our tradition-bound expectations of what should be where and how things should taste. And we definitely needed the waitress’ guidance around the menu. But our taste buds were enchanted by everything, from the garam masala with curry Leaf chickpeas served as an appetiser with our drinks, through the skewered oyster mushrooms and the puff beef tendons, each used to spoon up their delicious sauces, to a gorgeous dish of duck on a bed of flavourful rice, culminating in a chocolate desert full of of flavours I have never experienced with chocolate before, but which made it more delicious than any I have tasted. Definitely one to come back to, though I must remember that the very high prices (meal for 2 with a bottle of Chianti and two glasses of Prosecco totalled over £200) mean the occasion will need budgeting!
