Exceptional food served by the best restaurant in Bude. Even my wife said the same. I had the barbecued mackerel followed by the turbot with lobster and asparagus and the creme brûlée with rhubarb, washed down with a Sauvignon Blanc.

The staff were really friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and loved the locality aspect. we were a bit confused by the style of restaurant, certain aspects were very high end (sourcing of food, wine list) however other aspects were not (butter served on plate, small mini fridge style coke bottles, no drinks menu just wine). We loved our food and would definitely return however I felt that the owners had tried to set it up as a high end restaurant (our most expensive dinner in Bude) but it seemed to miss the mark on a few of finer details (loud decor and dated restroom facilities). Overall I’d return for the food and service but I wouldn’t say it’s a sophisticated environment.

Staff were friendly and welcoming and did their very best despite struggling with being understaffed. The food was wonderful- the bbq mackerel and scallops with red wine and bacon were so much more than they sound. The main was my favourite, super fresh brill with squid bhajee utterly delicious . My partners steak and cafe de Paris was so tender and the sweetness of the shallots contrasted beautifully with the tangy herbs in the sauce. His clotted cream and elderflower panacotta was the essence of summer. Can’t wait to go again.

Arrived early and the attentive service at the start fell away slightly as they became busier. That said the omelette starter was excellent as were the two main fish courses. Was a little on the pricey side but worth it.

A good find, lovely food and good service considering they were very short staffed. The wine list was very good value too. Definitely worth a visit.

I took an important business contact here for dinner and it was excellent. The starter of barbecue mackerel was delicious and the main of Megrim Sole was superb, cooked to pefection. A excellent meal, highly recommended. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the Chef produced a real treat. Thank you.

Sea Fever lived up to our expectations once again. Superb starters, mains and dessert with tasty, reasonably priced wines. Our chef (Kian we assume) produced his best again. Very friendly staff (esp Mark). On a rainy night we really enjoyed our evening. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Exquisite food! Every divine mouthful of intense complimenting flavours. How can Kian get better and better? How does he do it? Not even spoilt by the idiots in jeans and shorts fanatically playing with their phones without even noticing the heavenly delights they were eating, Bizarre.

As a regular visitor Sea Fever, it's great to see it start up again with the same quality and service as before. With a local resturant of this standard there is no need to travel further afield. We will be back again soon

Nice place with beautiful views. Food presentation was excellent, everything served was delicious. I know it’s seafood restaurant but could have something else than steak on the menu. Nice experience

The service was very good, the value for money not great. £105 for two of us to have starter, main and a bottle of wine. Would be reasonable if food was exceptional but it wasn’t. Bread is £3.50 per slice, heirloom tomato salad chopped cherries.
