    We've dined at Seymour Kitchen before, however this time our experience was slightly more disappointing. The service is a bit slow but OK - a couple of times the waitresses forgot to bring us something we asked for. The smoked aubergine dip was probably the best dish of our night; although at £8 without the barbari bread which comes extra at £3.5 it's a bit overpriced. The marinated salmon was tasty but there isn't much more to say about it. The worst dish was probably the lamb stew: it was blunt and watery, the meat was overcooked and the dried lemon's bitterness had overpowered the bluntness of the rest of the dish. Hope next time we are luckier.

    Simply delicious Excellent dishes, expertly cooked, tasty and delicious and at the same time light. Comfortable environment with few tables and therefore a very pleasant atmosphere. kind and attentive service. Absolutely recommended

    Glazed salmon garnished with fresh herbs and sesame seeds, served with a mixed greens salad, fluffy saffron rice, sesame flatbread, and a side of creamy yogurt.

    Went for Iftar and they brought us complimentary dates, fruit and tea. So thoughtful , and delicious food

    Layered biryani rice with saffron or turmeric, topped with nuts and dried fruits, served with spiced yogurt, a fresh salad, and a lime wedge.
    Roasted chicken leg glazed with aromatic sauce, garnished with sliced almonds and fresh herbs, served with saffron-infused fluffy white rice.
    Creamy beverage topped with colorful edible decorations, suggesting a rich flavor profile, possibly dairy or nut-based.

    Visited on a weekday and we ordered only one main dish each. The vegetarian dish Tahchin looked presentable, but sadly lacking in taste. The other dish served was a bowl of rice and a piece of chicken with a sauce which was tasty. Price of this dish was expensive at £18. With 2 soft drinks and service charge amounted to nearly £50. I exchanged this with a £20 yum tokens, but I still feel for the quality of the food ,it was expensive.

    A selection of Middle Eastern dishes featuring creamy hummus topped with olive oil, black sesame seeds, red chili, and crushed walnuts, alongside smoky baba ghanoush garnished with fresh herbs and paprika, served with warm pita bread.

    Super great food. very good service. no drought beer and the tables are set too close, Friday night was fully booked filling with about 20 people talking in such small space, it was extremely noisy. apart from that, everything else was good. I will definitely come back for the food. all stew dishes are strongly recommended, the sources are so nice.

    Hidden gem! This place is tiny so make a reservation and get there ASAP. The food is outstanding - we went for lunch and everything was delicious. Our faves were the bread/pickled veg/cucumber yogurt combo and an amazing cake with cardamom and rose water, but it was all great. Highly recommended!!

    Helpful staff. Small cosy space, though tables quite close together. We particularly enjoyed the fresh herb frittata, and will return to try their weekday lunch menu. Great value!

    Not that authentic. Watery mirza khasemi with little egg, kaske bademjun with little kashk. Chicken was decent..... Persian bread that wasn't Persian. Plenty of better options in London.

    Hi Erwin, Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience with us. We have asked for investigation on the night to find out if there is any issue. In essence, I would like to comment on options you tried. Our mirza ghasemi starter has quite reasonable amount of egg to balance the whole dish and not overpower it. Same as kashk bademjan; which actually we go a bit on the higher side and not only we use kashk as a garnish, but also we add kashk during making the dish. In regards to bread- it is definitely Persian. It is Barbari with seeded and way different from similar Turkish breads etc. We have been getting this bread from Iranian bakers in London. We do hope to see you again at Seymour Kitchen and please do ask for shift manager so we can meet in person. Regards Bahman

    We liked the food and the service at first seemed good but at the end they charged us for deserts at full price which was not mentioned in the offer terms or at the start. That left a bad taste in my mouth hence the lower rating.

    Nice little cafe with very fun modern Persian food. Everything tasted good and the service immaculate. Really friendly, homely feeling place.

    We went to this place based on the reviews although I have to say we were a little bit disappointed. The food was very good, we had the sharing platter (which included 4 types of sauces and bread) then we had as a main salmon and lamb stew. We really enjoyed our meals although the service felt a bit rushed. Whilst we were still eating the starter one of the waiters came to ask if we were ready for the mains and start to clear the plates before we had finished even though we were with our baby and it takes longer to eat as we have to look after her. Also, when we asked the bill, I did not get the chance to look at it before paying as the waiter was already ready to take my payment. I just think the service could have been a little bit more professional.
