SG4 Brasserie & Bar at Needham House Hotel

The service and food were both excellent and I would definitely be returning to dine here again

The room is a beautiful place to sit and eat and chat. Windows all along one side looking out over the garden. There were two weddings at the hotel that day. It was distracting that large members of wedding guests trouped backwards and forwards through the restaurant whilst we ate. The food was pleasant. The honeyed carrots as an extra with the main course had not been scrubbed sufficiently so little bits of grit to munch on. The service was good enough although we ate our starter and had to ask again for our drinks to be brought. Two three course meals and 2 alcoholic drinks was £90. Afternoon teas were being served as we left. They looked gorgeous. I would say that if you would like an above average location for your meal were you will also have trouble free parking and the food is pleasant but incidental to meeting and chatting with friends then this is for you. If you like to be impressed with your food, then maybe not so.

Great time at the Needham for a joint 60th and 30th birthday party. Excellent food, great service and a really lovely place to enjoy

excellent food- very good service too there were only 3 deserts- but oooh they were superb

Food was excellent. Really well cooked and beutifully presented. Not too much to eat but enough to have three courses. Waiters were attentive and service was great, being polite and prompt. Lovely surroundings. The only downside was that we were the only diners so not exactly atmospheric.
