7/10From Pizzas to the "home made" pies the food standard is terrible and way over priced. Staff and service however is very good.

6/10My family and I went to shaw farm for lunch , they were under staffed, we had to wait a long time for drinks , food , and the bill , also mine and my husband’s food was was nearly cold , we were so disappointed we won’t be back ..

10/10I love this little place it’s a traditional country inn style really nice setting and surroundings staff are always professional and friendly and the estates always clean and tidy ……plus the food is great ….would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

8.5/10food quality was good, presentation on some dishes could have been better, no side plates for bread/butter. Staff while friendly wre not very attentive, no dessert spoons were given soup spoons

8/10The chicken pie was delicious. The service was good . The disabled toilet let you down badly. There was no toilet seat to sit on & it needed a good bleach. I shall be visiting Shaw Farm again but hopefully will not need to use the disabled toilet.

4.5/10It was very disapppointing. There was no gammon so one of us had a steak - it was full of gristle. The sea bass was ok......but then whole dish could have been hotter - it was barely luke warm. There was no heating on at all so we had to leave early to find somewhere to warm up! Seeing as we had driven from South Wales to meet up with friends for the evening , it was a complete letdown

10/10I had put on the booking that it was a birthday meal and we were greeted with a happy birthday which we thought was really good. All the staff were really friendly and polite. A great menu

7/10The Meat was great cooked perfect but the veg wasnt hot warm and the potatoes was reheated and hard had trouble cutting them told the waitress who said she would tell the chef.

8/10An excellent Sunday roast. Plenty of food and well presented. Only negative was could have been hotter. Obviously pretty stretched for staff as is everyone else in hospitality but always polite and trying their best. Never had a bad meal yet despite the bad press they often get.

7.5/10We hit a day when they had further reduced their menu due to staff shortages. We have visited 3 times over the last 5 months and I know times are difficult but it is frustrating to have such a narrow menu which also had some things not available.

10/10Went here with a friend for lunch. Second time I’ve been here having only moved to the area late last year. Had the Sunday roast last time and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Will definitely come again. Very nice place.

9.5/10We have been going to Shaw Farm on and off for years. Sadly, prior to the pandemic, the food, service and general quality of the experience at Shaw Farm was very poor. We thought we would try again and we were pleasantly surprised! Absolutely excellent tonight.
