9/10Shoryu is always welcoming, friendly staff and good food. Usually quite busy, so best to book. Prices are reasonable and food is freshly prepared. We shared delicious octopus balls to start and then ramen noodles in a tasty broth with sliced pork. Great lunch on a cold and wet day!

Above average Ramen standard but most surprising was the mochi brownie dessert. Didn’t expect such quality and taste at such price! Very yummy and inspiring! Definitely not one of those desserts just bought from a Japanese supermarket!

9/10Food was delicious, as always, ambiance is also good. The only issue, and it was my own fault, my Grandson received his appetiser, mine did not arrive until he had finished, next time, I will ask for them to be brought together. We eat here regularly, that speaks for itself! Staff, food, service and ambiance are the best.

6/10Have been to a few outlets however this time felt the soup wasn't as flavourful. Noodle was soggy when arrived. The eggs were well made. Takoyaki was disappointing as the tako inside were mini and barely there. Service was friendly.

8.5/10The flavour was good as always. The only thing that bothered us was that there was too much ramen in the broth and not enough vegetables. Seasonal vegetables are really not too expensive, especially cabbage. We would like to see more of them here.

7.5/10Chicken katsu: chicken was delicious but rice was very cold had to send back to warm it up. Vegan Ramen was good Asked for separate Noodle which was very cold and stuck together!

10/10Fantastic place to get an authentic Ramen, side dishes including pork Gyoza and Bao Bun were extremely tasty and all food was very well presented. Fast attentive service, high quality food, brilliantly mixed cocktails, great value. Highly recommended!!

4/10The waitress was lovely, however the food was incredibly disappointing. I was embarrassed as I had guests from abroad with us. That’s sad, they should have a decent Ramen. The taste was awful, a cup noodles from the supermarket probably would have caused better impression. Overpriced noodles ever. It was my 3rd time there, unfortunately the quality has been falling down since then.

I was able to book a last minute reservation at this amazing ramen restaurant. The menu had a lot of options. I had the Karaka Tan Tan Tonkotsu ramen and it is hands down the best ramen I’ve ever had. We shared the cucumber, edamame, and pork buns which all had wonderful complementing flavors. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything you order here.

9.5/10I go to this local restaurant in Kensington from time to time with friends. This time we went for lunch and the restaurant was peaceful and not too busy, so we could chat over our meal. We took advice from a helpful member of staff and both enjoyed our meal. My friend asked for only a small portion of noodles and I asked for "not too spicy"; both dishes came exactly as ordered and were very tasty. We shared a starter of gyoza and that was also good. A pity that Shoryu no longer accepts Yums!

5.5/10The staff were nice but there were small flies everywhere. We moved to a different table and constantly had flies hovering around our food. Very unpleasant.

8.5/10It was nice, although a bit hectic and my date thought he’d heard one of the servers say a homophobic slur in Portuguese. Not quite sure what that was about, probably nothing, but the other servers looked at us when it happened and it was awkward.

9/10Just had a lovely meal with a friend. We ordered off the Xmas menu and it was delightful! The 3 courses were great with some good choices and specials that wasn’t available on the normal menu. The deal also included a drink! We tried the gingerbread sake- which was served warm - perfect for a cold winter’s evening! The prawns katsu bun with cranberry sauce was delicious! The ramen was chewy and just right. The chocolate brownie mochi was a revelation! One of the best ramen restaurants we’ve been to in London! Will definitely be trying the rest of the menu the next time we visit London!

Delicious and well presented ramen bowls and superb coctails served by welcoming staff in a very simple but nice unpretentious setting. Pity their booking system is very rigid and we could not find a way to change our reservation to add other friends who wanted to join us last minute…. And we couldn’t even find a telephone number to contact them!

Chicken karange and pok baos remain from favourites for me at this noodle house. Tried katsu for the first time here and ot did not disappoint.
