9/10Just my personal taste I feel like the takoyaki was a bit over cooked and didn't like the pickled ginger in my ramen but my partner enjoyed most of the food. Lovely staff and was busy so I understand they may have been overworked

9.5/10Great FORK offer. Just over £20 for three course lunch and a drink. Quality of the food was excellent and portion size was good. Highly recommended.

5/10Despite having a reservation we had to wait for about 5mins at the door just waiting for a waiter/waitress to notice us standing. Also the ramen broth definitely needed more seasoning or flavor. The buns were quite nice.

7.5/10Great food and fun setting but service very poor and hard to get anyone’s attention. At one stage we waited five minutes to make a request and various staff walked straight past us despite us quite clearly beckoning them over. Should do better.

10/10This little restaurant serves amazing, authetic Japanese food. We had excellent service on a busy Thursday night and had a wonderful time. Can't recommend highly enough!

5/10Really mediocre service - had to wait ages to be seated, ages to be handed the menus, ages for the bill to arrive. I don't think anyone ever asked us how the food was or if we needed anything else. Just the kind of completely forgettable, transactional place that makes one question why an "optional" 12.5% service charge has become the norm these days.

6.5/10Not very good service, uncoordinated staff,and don't really care. If you order tap-water, then they don't bother getting it - possibly because it's free? No attempt made to time the food so that both people get their meal together - so one person got their food 7 minutes before the other. I've worked in restaurants and this is just laziness and lack of coordination by the chefs. Worst of all,last time my lunch partner needed to get back for a meeting, so we asked for the matcha-cheesecake dessert to go. When we got back to the office, we found that the cheesecakes were frozen solid - only edible 3-4 hours later I went back to Shoryu later that day to tell them, and they just shrugged - no admission, no apology, no offer of compensation .... basically, they make no effort, and don't care

3/10Very disappointed with my experience at this location. Had a booking at 9. The kitchen and the bar closed at 9:30. By the end of my meal I couldn’t order any more drinks. I don’t understand why the allow late bookings if the kitchen is closing early.

7/10Booked the special set menu as advertised on the Fork - was told that only the standard set menu was available and they didn't have the all the items on the special one and it was for other branches only. Not a major issue as items on standard set was fine. Table set up wasn't greatest - cramped and constantly bumped by staff and other customers. Service also insistent - small table but received multiple dishes in succession, so felt rushed. Then had to wait over half an hour and request dessert (ordered at start as part of set menu order). Food was nice.

7/10Fantastic food, really tasty. Busy and bustling. We were sat at the back of the restaurant out of sight which may have contributed to the extremely slow service we received. "Express lunch" menu took us 2 hours from start to finish, my work colleagues wondered where I had got to. A shame as it was otherwise a great experience

We come in 5 min early, and been standing by the door 10 min pass our book time, staff was chating and giving delivery orders and even ask move a side than sit us on our table or ask everything ok. No rush.. maybe short of staff or something.. besides that the food was amasing as always cuz coming back only for Ramen and other food. But we scan qr code and order faster than staff ask do we need anything or we ok.. and get extra pay for tips . For this treatment looks just not fair it should be option to chose tip or not.. will think about it to come back again or not..

5/10It was incredibly difficult to even make this booing as each time I called to make a reservation the staff didn’t understand that I wasn't trying to make a booking for the same day or just hung up. The food tasted nice but was average. We were expected to self serve via a QR code and then pay a 25% service charge… I would expect table service if there is a mandatory service charge

10/10The service was friendly and quick. We tried the signature ramen and were left satisfied with the meal. We would recommend both this place and the signature ramen to both the newcomers and those who already tried many variations of this dish.
