The restaurant has tried hard to create an oriental atmosphere. The food was tasty and we felt it was pretty good value for money. I wouldn't choose the plum wine with soda again and I'd skip the octopus balls but I'd return and pair my tasty noodle soup with something else.

Great experience for our booking, we had a little issue with the table for the number of people, but they made up for it with the service and atmosphere we had during our time there. Definitely recommend to go for a great ramen. Acceptable price.

The food was good but the service not as quite. We were forced to eat really fast because we arrived at 9 and the restaurant was closing at 10 PM. It was the New Year’s Eve so it was a shame. However we were warned about this so it is a good point but just when we arrived because I did not receive any calls. All in all, it was a rather average experience, such a shame that I could not finish my dessert because we were such in a hurry.

Going to Shoryu every Saturday as I'm not local. i wish I can go often than that. All staff are welcoming and helpful. Food is delicious and that signature ramen from their menu makes Shoryu Manchester a must visit. Thanks guys. Il see you Saturday. Dan C.

We really enjoyed our meal at shoryu! The staff were so friendly from the moment we walked in, and it was a Monday so they talked through all the specials they had - on Monday it’s 2 for 1 buns. Then they let us know we were there for happy hour amongst a few other things. It was great! The food was delicious! We loved it and would recommend!

Been coming to Shoryu infrequently since they opened and was very familiar with the setup, food and service. Recently visited with my toddler for a weekend lunch but they forgot my child’s order and they only realised when all the adult meals arrived so had to wait for another 15-20 minutes before my child’s food arrived. I did think it was odd that the staff took our order by memory and not used any paper and pen or tablet. Raised this to the manager at the end of the meal and declined to pay the optional service charge. No apology was given at any point during our visit here.

The chef missed our order, which caused 20 minutes delay after placing order. No staff cared until I asked waitress to follow up. Food is good but a bit expensive with 10% service charge. Tables are very closed with others, not so comfortable.

The service here was great, staff were very attentive and willing to answer the questions I had, as for the food I got the pork ramen on their early bird deal and it was good, the broth could’ve had more flavour but the pork tasted really nice and the matcha detox mock tail was delicious

This was such a cute find! I had ramen for the first time here and the broth was absolutely amazing, will definitely be coming back :D One thing that I found a bit upsetting was the service, the waiters weren't too hospitable and made us wait way too long outside the store despite us having a reservation and seeing us waiting to be seated. Other than the service, definitely a very good place

Love the japanese atmosphere. Staff are friendly and quick to serve. Ramen portion was good and filling and price was fair however £7 matcha cheesecake was very small for that price.
