8/10Ramen was great, buns were okay as to me they were dry and the donburi was also really good - the tempura was seasoned well and fresh! My only caveat was in regards to getting water for the table which felt like a runaround but the team were overall friendly.

6/10I specifically said at 6:50 that I really want the £8 happy hour cocktail and asked for recommendation. I asked for recommendation on which is more popular and the waiter said the plum. I ordered it, but first she comes back at 7:01 saying she can’t put it in because it’s passed happy hour time, and I said, come on I ordered in time, and she said okay. Then she brings me this can (which is £3 in the store) and which I thought was weird for a cocktails. Then on the bill I see £7.50 and she explains that this wasn’t a cocktail so didn’t require happy hour pride anyways!! I was not happy. I’m told it’s past happy hour time because not entered on time, but I’m not told that the order isn’t even a cocktail, which she obviously understood when finally putting it in!! This is probably the worst customer service I experienced, no apology, not anything. Won’t be going back to this branch

7/10Service was v good. Sweet girl. Food so basic. Upstairs loo a mess with loads of cardboard stored there. Whole place needed a make over. Felt like it was an older restaurant of the well known chain.

food was great and the service was good. the miso ramen was not what I was expecting but nonetheless everything else was up to a very good standard. the karage the buns and takoyaki were very nice. the restaurant itself is a bit tiny and not as atmospheric as other locations which would be one of my only grips

8/10I would definitely recommend the Seafood Natural Ramen in this restaurant. The portion sizes were plenty and the Ramen broth was lovely and rich. I would say that the portion sizes of the seafood was quite small compared to the amount of noodles given. The service was great, however once seated it did take a while for the waiters to notice that nobody had taken our order yet but once we caught their attention they were lovely and friendly. The restaurant was busy, as Friday nights in London are, and there was not very much space between parties but it was a nice relaxed atmosphere and would recommend.

6/10Ramen was good but service was ramshackle. Long waits to order, and before desserts were brought. Wrong dessert was brought too. Wrong drinks too. We had to ask for water twice. Noisy and bright. A lot of noise from dropping of dishes.

8.5/10Lovely welcome and friendly service. We enjoyed the Gyoza and the noodle dishes. We'd asked for a quiet table and the manager had warned us they were fully booked and seated us in the quietest corner and even offered to turn down the music! This is a popular little restaurant and we appreciated the kindness of the staff.

+4Food was tasty, service great with a good variety of sake and other beverages. Family friendly with colouring materials for children and a good menu for the little ones. My miso tonkotsu was dreamy, I can definitely recommend this!

10/10Second time here and we had a great time again. The food was amazing, very friendly staff and comfortable place. Definitely will come here again. Our friends visited for the first time and enjoyed it too. 10/10 recommend for sure

4.5/10Terrible service. The two wait staff on shift were completely disinterested, bordering on rude. Forgot to bring drinks we asked for three separate times and tried to give us someone else’s food. Have been to other branches of Shoryu and had a much better experience so I do think the staff members working on this shift just let things down and could benefit from more training. Food was still good. Probably wouldn't visit this particular store again, though.

7/10The service was just awful, there was a girl just acting annoyed by everyone, I had to call her like 10 times just to take my order and finally when she dare to came she just smashed the block notes on the table, when I asked for a coke because I can’t drink alcohol she started to say that I couldn’t had it, then my friend asked after 20 minutes for that coke and she gave it to him, I guess she had something with me that night

6/10The food was very good but the service and overall ambience of it really ruined it for us. We were a table of 8 and we appreciated that sometimes it takes a while for a big table to get their order etc but honestly, the service was so terrible. One of us literally had the chair break underneath her so she fell completely to the ground. When asked how she was, one of the severs laughed. Additionally the drink we thought we had ordered was not actually served to us - we only noticed at the end when we were paying our bills and they said we ordered the wrong drinks? We then proceeded to wait another 30 mins or so for our bill.. it really shouldn’t be this difficult to pay. I would 100% go to another branch for the food as the service was not to par with this location. I’ve been to other locations and the service was much better.

5.5/10After reading good reviews we decided to try this spot. Once seated, the menu was explained and the server went away for a minute or two. She came back and asked if we were ready to order. I said I was but my wife was still deciding. She just stood there waiting for her to decide, even though I twice said that we need more time. She then asked me if I wanted my order placed before my wife had even decided. My wife ended up making a rushed choice as the server continued to stand over our table, ultimately not enjoying what she ended up ordering. I ordered the miso tonkatsu after reading in their menu about their 24 hour process of making the ramen broth. When it arrived, the flavors of the broth were weak and bland, and the pork cut into 3/4” slabs, which were very awkward to eat. This was a very pedestrian ramen bowl at the best. To top it off, a 12 1/2% tip had already been added to our bill, which we had to flag the other staff member down to have brought to our table. With the quality of the service and the food, I never would have even left a tip, but I am not one to argue and make a scene. This is not a spot we would return to unfortunately.

8/10Excellent food! Great service. Had a bit of a miss hap as the confirmed reservation through google apparently required a confirmation and I didn't realise this until I got to the restaurant but the staff was great at sorting it out. The place was a bit chilly but that was not a bother either. Definitely recommend :)
