2/10£60 (!) for a tasteless, oily pasta and a store-bought focaccia. I wish I’d read the reviews before and avoided going to this place. Service was rude and far away from Sicilian hospitality. I do not recommend this place at all.

10/10I booked late and on arrival it was very busy! They found me a table without any fuss, orders were taken in a timely manner and the drink promptly. My food arrived shortly afterwards and was superb - as always! Looking forward to my next visit!

4.5/10Visited for my birthday meal. We ordered bread and olives for starters which was fine. For mains we ordered Tagliatelle Portobello, Parmigiana and Gnocchi and it was quite cold and we felt disappointed by the mains. The dessert took over 20 minutes of waiting to arrive and it was going over the time we was told they needed the table back so we felt quite anxious and told them they could take it off the bill if it wasn’t ready and we had to leave. The dessert came after we paid the bill but we felt like we needed to rush. I was disappointed considering it was a birthday meal.

4/10I wanted to support local businesses in January and so booked a table at Sicilian NQ that I’d not been to in a couple of years knowing there was a January deal on. I was given two different booking links and booked with the Fork (for no other reason than it was at the top of the list). There was no room to put the January code so I messaged on instagram and emailed the restaurant directly. After a nice meal (with some issues - one of our party didn’t get what they ordered - but didn’t make a fuss as it was 40% off ), we asked for the bill and were a bit shocked and really disappointed to hear they wouldn’t give us the discount as we booked the table with The Fork. I couldn’t have done anything else reasonable to be clear I was booking with the January discount and the service levels were so bad/quite rude when we mentioned it so we didn’t want to cause a fuss but it definitely put me off coming here again and I wouldn’t recommend it at all. A real shame as I was looking forward to it.

2/10The WORST dining experience I have EVER had in Manchester. Don’t bother, go anywhere else but here. Three generations having Xmas dinner together for the first time in a year, ruined by this restaurant. 1st -ve The waitress rushed us through the ordering process and getting us out the door again. Rude! 2nd -ve Cold food for three of us came out. Chef Microwave on strike? 3rd -ve Accused of being a liar by the waitress when stating food was cold. 4th -ve Clumsy and aggressive afterwards when clearing plates and glasses. 5th -ve No apology and no offer to reduce the bill. 6th -ve A long and lasting bad memory which was supposed to be a special evening for our family.

No, this is incorrect. The prices in the menu include VAT and then in the bill is scorporeded in a separate row but anything was added. Look better your receipt and do your math correctly. Kind Regards

4/10I think the small meatball dish is not good value for money at £18. If you want pasta with it, it’s an additional £2. Never experienced this at any other Italian restaurant … disappointed. The hot chocolate was good

5.5/10Booked a table for my birthday dinner. Upon arrival there was no table available, I was told to come back in 20 minutes, it took more than 30 min and three visits to get a tiny table, no apologies. The host/server was in a foul mood, incredibly rude and it took a while for our group (all restaurant/bar managers) to have our order taken. When food arrived one person wrongly got vegan meatballs instead of regular, one dish was missing, and server was acting like we were burdens. No apologies for the delayed dish which she had forgotten to put through, but blamed on the kitchen, no correction for the vegan meatballs, simply ignored. Dessert was served poorly with few options left. Extremely disappointed, paid £200 for the worst service in Manchester.

Starters and main came out all at the same time even though the place was mosty empty. Been before for dessers which were amazing but starters and main this time were disappointing.

8/10Lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. Food good but not incredible. Drinks heavily priced. Seating areas ‘cosy’ but not spacious, it was a little cramped at a table top style eating area. Strange ‘none Italian’ music of Indian decent playing odly. Staff lovely, toilets in need of love as only one and quite scruffy. Place needs a little more tlc. Could be a gem, not there yet. Worth it for the food but ambience lacking.

10/10We feel that we've stumbled on a little piece of heaven in the NQ. The restaurant felt like it was in Sicily, so intimate and snug. Staff were bright and warm, the food was simple but stunning and the cocktails, sublime. There were a lot of people trying to get a table so book ahead. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Manchester.

4.5/10One of the waitresses had a terrible attitude and she acted casual when ordering. As a result, the dishes and coffee that were sent up were not what we wanted (because we had eaten before so we knew that the dishes must have been sent up wrongly, and the iced latte that we ordered was sent up hot, and we asked her to give us some tap water for us three times and still didn't take it, and finally another waitress gave it to us).

10/10It’s a fantastic place to eat! It’s quirky and not for everyone, people are packed in tightly on stools and tables of different height and sizes. However, you can soak up the atmosphere, enjoy great food and relax with the wonderful staff that are full of character.

6/10The food was good but very expensive. An extra £2 for a very small portion of spaghetti as it didn’t come with the meatballs. Service wasn’t great. We are perched on the edge of a table at the back and our food was passed via other diners. A big party was expected and the staff seemed very on edge.

10/10Really good food. Eight of us had different starters and main courses and we all really enjoyed the food. The sharing dessert platter was huge and the cannollo the best I've had since holidaying in Sicily. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

10/10Really great little restaurant. Amazing food and good service although it was quite quiet on a rainy Wednesday afternoon. Never been to Sicily but it feels very authentic. Maybe they need to fix the toilet seat but certainly that's not a deal breaker. I would certainly recommend it.

5/10The food was actually very good but expensive for what we got. The house wine by bottle was around £25 and it jumps to £35 & if you wanted anything other than Sicilian wine I have never ever been charged extra for Parmesan cheese but we were today (£2.50) ….. the waitress was miserable and looked as though she really couldn’t be bothered. All in all we won’t be revisiting.
