6/10-Food was 3/5 average. Maybe more chefs and kitchen staff required as most tables were waiting for their food -Ambience 5/5 fancy, clean, large space with live band and showed football match. Clean toilets with large spaces. Nice lighting. Be aware it might not be ideal if you don’t like loud noises -Service was terrible, waited for a long time to be served and for food to come. Most of the younger age staff appear to ignore requests, just standing around and then disappeared. Only 1 young blond/brunette man and older age staff were responsible and actioned our requests. We had to ask 4 people for a jug of water before we finally got the jug I believe a manager is needed to address the poor work culture of the young staff…

9/10Really nice experience. Atmosphere was on point and the food was good also. Portion sizes were very generous and the drinks were reasonably priced also. Will defo visit again. Ps. If you visit, Daz was a great hostess, very well attentive and you'll be lucky to have her as a server.

7.5/10Service was ok but not as warm and welcoming as We’ve experienced previously at the sound cafe . Lots of tables in the cafe just being used to watch sport by groups of men . Food ok but fajitas not good as wraps hard and stuck together

3.5/10Every time we come here they never have our booking. The man on the desk is quite rude. we asked to sit in the bar area as the restaurant was busy, he showed us to the table and said you'll have order at the bar as there is no waiter working here. why not? there were plenty of other customers eating in the bar area.

6/10The restaurant is huge and would probably be too noisy on a weekend. It’s connected to a hotel lobby so a bit strange. Service was slow, we had to stand up and go to the desk to call someone over. They bizarrely brought out starter and main together and the manageress said that’s how they did it there. We thought they would remove the starter from the bill as obviously that’s not how it’s done but instead took the starter away. The steak wasn’t awful but I would argue it wasn’t 20oz as stated and the mash tasted like it came of a packet and grey. Would avoid for food although if you want a music night and expensive drinks might be the place

7.5/10nice food but can't make up my mind about service as quite a few servers and empty tables but difficult to get hold of anyone. that said once order was placed it did happen very quickly. Shared the Tomahawk steak which was lovely except for the 2 teaspoons beans which was delicious, could do with a bigger portion of that. Nice mash too, supposed to be unlimited but no one came and check or ask. hence the service review: not sure if they are overworked or not working smart enough there.

8/10The atmosphere was lovely and the live music was excellent. The staff were very friendly and made sure that everything is well. We tried the Sound burger which was a great burger with a thick patty. However, the pork ribs were tough and it was overpriced for what it is.

10/10It has been a year since our first visit here and we were looking forward to returning. Last time we had the best waiter ever and we were so happy to be served again by Dario and his colleagues. Perfect, friendly and attentive service. Outstanding menu and food was delivered promptly and was delicious. Good choice of beers and wine. Background music was just right. We had a great time and thank everybody for making it so.

3/10We made a reservation several weeks in advance for afternoon tea, but when we arrived were told there was no afternoon tea that day. The website hadn’t told us this - we’d have booked somewhere else if we’d known. Disappointed, we left, and it was too late to find an alternative.
