Nothing wrong at all but the ambiance was flat on a quiet wet mid-week evening. The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent and well presented.

the service was too attentive, we didn't have a minutes peace. my daughter was asked 4 times if she wanted a second coke! this was intrusive. the seabass was delicious, but a chicken dish murgh nilgiri? was 5 pieces of dry chicken in a a mass of green sauce which had a terrible taste which we all left

Have used Spice Merchant in Henley and home delivery previously. This was my first visit to Beaconsfield and I was not disappointed - everything was superb - delicious food and lovely setting (the sunshine helped as we sat in the garden!). Will definitely go again and happy to recommend.

The welcome on arrival was lovely and the menu choices did not disappoint. The food was excellent and it’s set in Beaconsfield old town. Well worth a visit!

The starters and mains were delicious - only disappointed by the chutneys served with the poppadoms - it needed an achaari chutney (lime pickle) and some onions. The chutneys served were all a bit tasteless. The tiger prawn starter was outstanding. As were the pakoras and the lamb chops and lollipop chicken. All in all, a really good Indian, but more pricey but worth it.

Can’t fault it, first visit for several years as we don’t live locally. Was as good as I remember. On the pricey side, but definitely a cut above your average ‘curry house’
