Restaurant had a good feel to it & the steak was well cooked. Service was really bad though & would not go back. Asked for salt & pepper at the table twice & it never came. Asked for mustard & never came. Asked for the bill & it took 20 minutes till I said I would walk out. Service really bad for a place that costs over £50 a head.

We use a steak and lobster locally and always had delicious food. This one was not up to scratch sadly. Disappointed really as start of our holidays!

Do not visit on Valentine's Day. We spent 20 minutes in the queue at the restaurant entrance before we could be seated. We spent close to 3 hours at our table and only managed to get through a starter/ salad and main due to delays in our order being taken and the food arriving. We skipped the desert. Even getting a simple tap water resulted in a 10+ minute wait. It was the first time I've had to call a waiter 4 times so that we could pay and leave. Absolutely ridiculous.

We went for my sons 21st birthday celebration. Food was very tasty, and good portion sizes. Staff very attentive, and went out their way in the kitchen to come up with a lovely desert and candles. Lovely atmosphere and not over priced.

They could not find my reservation but luckily I had it on my phone. The waiter took forever to get to us and even longer to offer us drinks, to include water. The menu he gave us said the lemon salad was included with each main course. When we ordered the lemon salad, he said it wasn't included. I told him his own menu said it is and he needed to honor it. Service was slow, food was mediocre, tables took forever to get cleared off. Overall, a very disappointing and expensive dinner.

Lovely welcoming and friendly lady on entering and showing us to the table. The waitress was great very friendly, helpful with recommendations on food and nothing too much trouble for her . They were Zaneib and Christina

we always come to steak and lobster for special occasions as it is a lovely venue, the food and service is 10/10, unfortunately the only downside is that it is very pricey and no longer provides unlimited chips or salad like they use to.

Really enjoyed our dinner. It was my daughters first time eating lobster and I am glad the food matched up with the experience of cracking claws. The lemon salad was my highlight, didn't realise something so simple could taste so good!

The food was wonderful as always , however was slightly disappointed that the salad and fried is no longer bottomless and the garlic lemon butter sauce is no longer on the menu ! The restaurant is spotless and great ambiance.My only advise would be to assign another staff member to each area as it was busy and our server was flustered with many ppl pulling her in different directions .

Pre booked a table, and was still asked to wait half an hour, as there were 4 walk ins in front of us who were seated straight away. Host at the front even had audacity to question my reservation, so I showed her on my phone. She then sat us at the “only table available” in the corner where we couldn’t even be seen let alone served. However within the space of 5 minutes dozens of other walk ins managed to come in and be seated straight away with no issues? We wasn’t even given a menu, I had to take one for myself. Waited half an hour to be served and AGAIN had to get up from our seats to get attention. I would not have expected this, and I was only at the restaurant the day before with my family celebrating my birthday, and I went the next day with my partner. Incredibly disappointed this time around, and I’ve been coming to this restaurant for the past 5 years, however due to it being closed after covid, I hadn’t been for some time, so I was looking forward to going twice in the same week. Our waiter when he did come was apologetic I will add, and helpful, but the overall experience was not at all up to par, busy or not.

The welcoming staff and the server were great food wasn’t what I expected everything was very salty salty steak salty fries that were rock hard like they had been fried several times . Setting was beautiful and very clean would not be going back especially for 5 of us it was over £300 don’t order the vegetable Mac n cheese
