5/10When you go to a restaurant that calls steak and lobster, and you order lobster, you expect it to be good. If not the best, although why not, then at least good. It was one of the warts lobsters. A great waiter and fine desserts made this evening not so disappointing. Only because of the great work of the waiter we did not return all the food and did not refuse to pay.

7.5/10It would be very hard to give a better rating for the food despite the main (surf and turf) being good…..it was good because it was half price (£25) if I’d paid full prices I could only have been deeply unhappy and would have had to give a lower rating we ordered the cheese plate and again so disappointed we told the very nice restaurant manager that they need to up their game if they want repeat business not just stragglers staying at hotel.

2.5/10The profile of the restaurant has recently changed: it is middle-eastern cuisine rather than sea food. The restaurant was completely empty and eventually another table got occupied. The reason is the food is under average, the portions small, thus an overall poor value and a "sad" atmosphere. The menu is very limited and overall it feels like they are just trying to find their footing after the changes. The most troublesome aspect is the false advertising: the good reputation of previous management and cuisine is left lingering in the advertisements, attracting tourists with no knowledge of the change by offering a 20% discount for reservation with credit card - so one cannot "withdraw from the trap" once reserved. A bad experience in London.

9/10A little noisy with a big table as not a lot of soft furnishings to absorb the noise. Our water wasn't topped up and had to ask only service comment, otherwise good. Steak was delicious.

9.5/10We booked a table for Friday evening and had a 50 GBP yums discount yia the fork. Our waiter Stephan was amazing and he made our evening very special. He was so lovely, caring and attentive. Even though we had the discount he provided excellent service. In other restaurants it can happen that you get a worse service because of the pre-booked discount but this was not the case at all here. We definitely visit the restaurant again - hoping to be lucky enough to have Stephan as our host then again. The food was delicious, we had the spinach salad, lobster and 2 different desserts. Definitely an evening that we will remember.
