4.5/10Honestly the lobster was the saving grace to the meal. It being valentines I can imagine the night being busy. But service was very slow. Wasn’t a lot of people working. The food was ok. Not great!

6/10Surf and turf reviewed by some as best in London was a huge disappointment. The smallest lobster you’ve seen and the toughest bit of steak ever. For £50 was not acceptable. A chain pub down the road offers better steaks. The management and staff were superb though and dealt with any complaint swiftly. The surrounds were lovely too. For a steak restaurant their meat purchaser needs some training.

3.5/10The new menu is terrible, it looks like pub food and the whole vibe of the restaurant is killed. The quality of the steak isn’t great and the paprika powder doesn’t go well with the thick chips. When asking if I can get the thin chips instead the waiter said they don’t do that anymore but then it says lobster with skinny paprika fries??? Bring back the old menu.

8/10The food was of an excellent quality, I would have loved to have had slightly bigger portion sizes or at least one side included but it was tasty and a real treat. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Slightly dimmer lights for a cosier atmosphere would have made it even better. Overall, really great!

7/10Beef salad and the Fettuccine Alfredo with lobster was excellent. Amazing flavour. Surprise that the restaurant was inside a hotel and the ambience doesn't feel like a steak restaurant, defintely more of a hotel but still worth visiting for the food

6.5/10Starters were both disappointing - overpowering dressing on the salad, very average beef mini tacos. Mains the filled brioche rolls were lovely, we had the veggie and surf and turf. The veggie steak macaroni cheese would have been much nicer without the veggie steak, which added nothing to the dish - the option to order an unadulterated mac would be welcome! Worth mentioning that we ate here at 5pm, so perhaps not surprising the atmosphere was a little quiet. Staff were nice and friendly.

5/10Who doesn’t have olives for martini, not a good start. Service was not attentive. Food was just ok, expected more for the price. For the one nice dinner out in London this was big disappointment!

9/10Went for the trademark surf and turf. Both were tasty, would rate the steak to be better than some well-known steakhouses. Lobster was a little on the small side but usual for most places these days.

3.5/10I didn’t realise that the restaurant was is the Grafton hotel. The atmosphere was like a lobby. The food was distinctly average.

7.5/10Waited a long time from entry to ordering our drinks. Plenty staff wandering around just not keen on serving tables. Friendly enough and food/drink order was right first time so we paid the added on service charge. Food was delicious and that spicy lemon sauce on the salad should be available to buy.

2/10The surf n turf brioche roll was the worst sandwich I have had in the UK. The filling was tiny so felt like eating bread slapped with mayo and chips! Spent our yums, but even if for free this is a waste of time. Had to go elsewhere for dinner afterwards.
