The food is average to poor. The owner appeared at one stage and was shouting (not angry but just very loud). There was zero atmosphere and very few other diners.

Wonderful food and great service by Alex. Classic Italian dishes executed to perfection. The tuna tartare, vittelo tonnato, milanesa and cacio e Pepe pasta were particular highlights.

It was our Wedding Anniversary & I telephoned to request a nice table. When arriving we were delighted to see that the best table in the house had been reserved for us👌. Alex & his staff were amazing, as was the food & ambience. There was nothing pretentious and we left saying it was our new favourite restaurant. Simply wonderful & would highly recommend 👌.

Great food, attentive and friendly service, nice ambience, cosy, good acoustics, mellow background music audible without being too loud. Would recommend stongly. Compares well to Il Trillo next door: different sort of environment, smaller, bit more grown-up, better food and sevice. Downsides, not cheap, bread basket wildly overpriced for what it is and they overcharged us for sweet wines, oversight we trust.

The food was not that good, the focaccia was dry. I asked for balsamic vinegar and they only had a glaze. We ordered two pastas and they were at most average. The place was empty so not sure the reason for this. I’ve eaten here before but this time was dissapointing, don’t think ill be back.

First time visiting Stecca for lunch with my wife , very friendly welcome and we were the only diners , however lovely interiors and quality of food very good .We both had Pasta mains .the crab linguine and papadelle with duck ragout, both very good would recommend.

Had lunch mid week. Just one other table for four. Nice starched white table cloths. The duck ragu tagliatelle was average. Service was good and efficient. No amouse as per previous visit of olives. .

Stephano, was very personable and friendly attended our needs perfectly. The whole service was very quick but in now way rushed. Food was excellent, as you would expect in Italy itself.

Staff were amazing and service great; but my wife had the most severe food poisoning about an hour after dinner … must have been the clams. Not acceptable in this day and age to have food cause these kind of issues.

We had a great time at this charming Italian, the staff were friendly and the food was great, the menu is small but everything sounds amazing so more than enough choice. I had the veal and my girlfriend had the beef cheeks both were perfectly cooked. Will be back :)

It is always irritating to be kept waiting on arrival, with no staff visible. Also to have an offer which was clear on the booking ignored when presented with the bill. Blatantly trying not to honour the 20% discount on overpriced and unimpressive food. To be honest, my companion enjoyed each of his three courses whilst i was underwhelmed with all three of mine.
