We had a reservation at 1200 and showed up on time and the place completely was not ready - had to wait a while for any food, beverages, etc to be ready. They didn't turn on any ambient music / lighting until about when we left. Once the food was served though it was pretty good! Everyone was nice! Just don't show up right at opening time - even if you have a reservation in advance

Spent £150 I was expecting the lamb curry would be tender, it was dry. Must have been old lamb. I was not really impressed. I went because it had very good rating.

First time eating here and would highly recommend. Staff were welcoming and attentive and checked in on us throughout the meal. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, but it was too spicy for me. When the staff asked how the meal was and I explained the issue, they immediately told me they would change my meal. After taking the food away they returned promptly with a butter chicken which was perfect. There was no quibble, and I really appreciated the lengths that they went to ensuring we were happy with the meal. I would recommend the food, portion sizes were generous, and the service was excellent, well worth paying a visit, hope to visit again soon.

We visited last week on a Sunday evening, it was our second visit. Always a lovely welcome and because of the weather it wasn’t that busy. They had a chap playing guitar and singing, not very good unfortunately, same chords played over and over. Anyhow, the food was excellent, we had 3 starters which were all good, and all our main courses were excellent too, if a little too spicy 🌶️ I asked for a sauce to go with my tandoori chicken and they charged an extra £7.00. This was no appreciated, although the rest of the bill was as expected and not too expensive. £100 for 3 if us including service. No dessert or coffee though. We will be back as we really enjoy it here.

Fabulous, delicious food - one point knocked off because the amritsari fish was shown as one-chilli spiciness but was a 3 and the person who ordered it couldn't eat it. Really good service - the waitress brought some lassi to help out the amritsari fish victim! Decent value for money all round

We went for a Christmas lunch. They wanted us to sit in a table which was very close to where they were serving even though there were lots of space available. The orange juice tasted bitter. We had ordered for Kheema Mattar and Naan for mains and they served starter mains altogether. The kheema mutter had more peas than Kheema. Overall not a great experience.

Food was disappointing. Jalfrazi was not spicy at all, lacked flavour and did not have many peppers/ tomatoes / chillies. Naan also was not as good as other places. Much better food in the curry mile or somewhere like Dishoom. Service was very good.

Went on a Friday early evening. Promptly greeted on arrival and service was flawless. Food was tasty and nicely presented. Curry was spicy and tasted authentic. Dosa was especially yummy. Would certainly visit again.

The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were so lovely and friendly. Particularly Nilakhi who looked after us very well. Will definitely visit next time we're in Manchester - highly recommend the samosa chaat and the paneer makhani, and the lamb special.
