Afternoon tea was good. Ample sandwiches and little sweet treats. My issue was the actual price. My friend and I booked for the price of £18.50. When the bill arrived the actual tea was £20 plus there was an extra charge for the actual tea ! Surely your hot drink is included !! We asked the waiter who was relatively new in the post to take off this extra charge from the bill. Ive been for numerous afternoon teas and this was a first. Crazy. The food and service was acceptable but I would think twice about returning.

The restaurant itself looks like 3star hotel restaurant. Food was pretty good but didn’t look even close to pictures on Fork. Staff was helpful. If you’re in the area of this hotel, you can stop by for good food (but nothing special), but not worth a special trip to this off tourist part of town.

The restaurant was pretty quiet but there was still quite a good atmosphere. The waitresses were helpful and attentive although we were asked if we had any allergies, we told her egg and yet they still brought us egg mayonnaise sandwiches! The Afternoon tea was okay not the best we’ve had,

Here for an Afternoon tea and loved the atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff who were attentive without being intrusive. The food was lovely and my vegetarian sister catered for. I came here for a belated special birthday treat and so glad I booked here. Thanks for a lovely dining experience to the staff. Would use again and recommend to others.
