9.5/10The food at Wakyo is next level and presented beautifully and with great care and our waitress was so lovely. She even ran down the road after us when my friend forgot something. The only reason I took one star off for ambiance is because we had the place pretty much to ourselves (which is a shame as it’s SO good) and also the music was a bit random and hardcore for a Friday lunchtime. This restaurant is a hidden gem, better than most central London high-end sushi that I’ve had. I want more people to go there but I also want to always get a table as it’s that fabulous!

10/10I don’t want to tell anyone about this restaurant as I want to keep it all to myself. After moving from central london I’ve been desperate to find high quality sushi restaurant that doesn’t cost a fortune. This is it! It’s delicious, fresh and authentic. The wait person was just so lovely. Sushi chefs are also happy and welcoming. The decor has a classic traditional vibe. Can’t wait to go back next weekend.

10/10Really extensive and unusual menu. What we had was generously portioned and delicious. Beautifully presented food, more like you would find in Japan than in the usual British Japanese restaurant. Excellent value lunch menu too with hearty dishes on offer. I think my husband was given a free miso soup when my soup came out too, which was a lovely gesture. I can't wait to come again and try the other amazing items on the menu! Our waitress was the best, also. Extremely hygienic everywhere, and great atmosphere. Tucked away in a side-street not far from the Thames Path, we went for a relaxing amble along the river afterwards. Make a bee-line for Wakyo!

10/10I'm a local and I've eaten here a few times over the years. I brought my friends along last night. We had fabulous service from Sonia and the good as always was beautifully presented and executed very well. The Aubergine miso was meltingly soft and well balanced. The prawn gyoza were divine The Dragon rolls all disappeared super fast. The tempura we almost fought over! We ended the meal with the ice cream- the Sesame Flavoured one and the mango mochi we had to order again! So tasty! This is a great local restaurant and I'm glad I introduced my friends to it! We will be back!

9/10Have been here several times but was slightly disappointed at the black cod the last few times and also they have taken the wasabi chicken off the menu
