6/10The food was ok but they seemed in a hurry to get us out of the restaurant. They rushed our meals and started clearing plates while some of us were still eating.

Thank you for the review. However I disagree that we rushed you. You were here for 2 hours. I do believe that in anyone’s book that is a decent amount of time. But we apologise if some how you felt that. Perhaps because we were busy and were rushed off our feet, it looked like we were rushing you. Sorry for that, but it was a Saturday night🤷🏻♂️.

8/10A nice soldi little restaurant with helpful patient staff. I needed a quiet place close to Paddington to meet a colleague for lunch - Taormina was perfect.

8/10Second time we've been. Consistently good, fresh food both times with an authentic Italian menu. Personally I'd recommend the fish. Lovely atmosphere for a large family meal, or a smaller more romantic evening.

3/10The ingredients didn't match the menu. The parma ham was normal ham. The drinks come on the bottle without cap. Probably they refill because the Coke had no gas. Overall bad experience, considering the price and the evaluation

3/10I have dined at this restaurant many times in the 1980’s and i was therefore really looking forward to taking a good friend to dine there recently. Unfortunately the waiter forgot to place my friends order with the kitchen and she was left waiting for her pizza whilst mine went cold. The pizza bases on both orders were overcooked and hard, making it difficult to cut and unpleasent. The experience ruined our evening. I will never dine there again.

2/10My colleague got stuck in the traffic and at 9.20 pm I called the Restaurant to let them know we were running a few minutes late but was abruptly told I could not attend not good service

10/10I don’t know the Paddington area well so had to do some research to find a nice restaurant. Luckily I stumbled across an absolute gem with Taormina. It was perfect and I’m so pleased. The food was delicious, surroundings light and pleasant, and the service excellent. On top of that the bill was much less than I estimated. Amazing place! I’ll be back.

7/10The prawn and the Calamari starters were excellent and very tasty. However, the pizzas we had were very disappointing due to the toughness of the pizza base. The knives provided were not sharp enough to cut through the pizza crusts and base. Toppings tasted good, but the quality of the pizza base left a lot to be desired.

4.5/10I didn’t realise I booked an offer and I felt like I was rushed through to free the table up for other diners. The sardines were not prepared properly. I raised my concerns with the waiter / manager and he was just plain rude and said what do you expect when you book an offer.
