There were two us there for lunch, but the place was nearly empty and therefore lacking in atmosphere. The food was good and the service was great - which you would expect with there not being many customers to serve.

Great accessible location, vibrant atmosphere, good value for money overall. Our waitress was very bubbly and friendly. The only negative is the welcome experience by a young gentleman who was not very happy to be there.

The waiter was good. The ambience? Not bad. The food? We shared a couple of dishes; a salad that was a little overdressed with a pretty good vinaigrette and included avocado that appeared to have gone bad but was, in fact, torched by the cook (this is a bad idea because it looks unappetizing and doesn't add any flavor). The pizza was good but way too much cheese. The drinks were also disappointing: A spicy paloma that wasn't particularly spicy and not much flavor and a Sazerac that was a disaster (served over ice which is wrong and, again, not much flavor). All in all, we really can't recommend this restaurant.

Hi Mark, Thank you for your review, however can I just check that it was Temper SOHO that you visited as we do not serve pizzas at our site we also do not have either of those cocktails on our menu, Just want to make sure you are thinking of the right venue

What a fantastic place! The staff were really welcoming and just the right amount of attentive, the atmosphere was buzzy (we sat by the cooking area - fascinating and great ventilation so neither hot nor smelly), and the food was completely delicious. We expected the meat dishes to be good, but the veg sides were a revelation - the grilled hispi cabbage especially. Amazing sauces! Fast service too so we could comfortably eat here before going to the theatre. They also treated my husband to a free dessert as it was his birthday. Will definitely be back!

Wine was served far to warm and starter was presented at the table together with the main course. Waiter seemed unaware of appropriate or.. Manager came.by and sad sorry shall I remove the starter... The bill was adjusted to include just.the.main dish so an attempt... but still far from my high expectations

We ate here last night and everything was excellent from the greeting at the front to the waitresses and the food was great. We had the ages beef nachos to start followed by the burnt end tacos and both were very tasty. We then had a huge rump steak with the garlic potatoes and this was amazing, steak cooked to perfection and full of flavour. It was nice sitting at the cooking station watching the food being prepared. Our waitress Ria was so good too, very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We would definitely come again, also the music being played was great too.

The server was so friendly and helpful, the food was incredible especially the pork ribs and beef brisket. Was slightly loud in there so made talking difficult at our table but was fun to see the chefs cooking!

Lovely food, and very accomodating when we asked to moved from a table near the door to the grill bar. Our server Key, was very attentive and knowlegeable - just a shame that you cant tip through the resturant as the servers dont recieve the tip if added to the bill.wheres the incentive? Overall nice place nice food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Temper. We would say that seating around the kitchen/chef area is spaces fairly tight- could do with more space between individual seats. I would also say that the kitchen area seats could do with a higher backrest. It was my bf birthday and they put a candle in his dessert which was cute- previously they bought of dessert on the house but not this time. Will be back again :)

Awful restaurant which gave our table away having arrived 20 minutes late due to the traffic of London (did leave a voicemail to explain) When we arrived they had given our table away - we were also told that steak takes 45 minutes to cook so if they accomodated the table there would be no time for steak. We were offered another menu but had to complete meal within 1 hour - yes, fine. Awful food, 60 day aged steak stunk of smelly cheese and the ambience was loud and full of male Christmas work parties

This was a great restaurant and highly recommended. I was dismayed to find my TheFork booking was not in their system. Thankfully they were able to accommodate me but would have been a real disappointment if they could not have.
