10/10The food was amazing in terms of quality, flavour and presentation. We were the first in the restaurant but due to its cozy setting it made for a very intimate setting. The other tables didn’t start filling until we were starting our desserts. Will definitely be returning soon and would definitely recommend!

2/10When we arrived, the place smelled of lamb as it's a fairly small restaurant. Then, we had a drink in the lounge which is lovely. When, we were shown to our table in the restaurant, it was a cold room! We ordered the scallops and raviolo for starters. Scallops were nice but raviolo was too doughy. For mains, we had veal which was nice but I had charcoal mosaic cod which was like eating a mouth full of sand at every bite. The red wine was served cold. It was a real shame as we wanted the restaurant to succeed and despite providing constructive feedback on the cod, we didn't get any acknowledgement. Sadly, we won't be back.

10/10We had a really warm welcome and an aperitif in the bar which has a warm ambiance. The meal was delicious, beautifully cooked and well presented. Great service throughout. We had a lovely evening.

7.5/10The service from all the staff was friendly and attentive. Our starters were very tasty but the main course of mosaic cod and asparagus and 24 hour potatoes was very disappointing. The venison, on the other hand, was delicious.

10/10Simply outstanding. From the moment of our arrival to our departure, the team at Ten Tables were exemplary. The Filament Bar is a delight and the actual restaurant lovely - intimate and quiet - but, as one would hope, the food is the star of the show. Delicious, flavourful, beautifully presented and Chef absolutely deserves all the praises being heaped upon them. It’s not the most extensive menu but there is something for everyone - the venison was sublime. All this topped off by the most delightful, courteous and professional staff. I’d love not to submit this review to keep this hidden gem hidden but they deserve so much recognition and success and I would suggest that anyone who loves exceptional food should seek out Ten Tables. For sure, we will be back. Highly recommended.

10/10We now been several times at The ten tables and never been disappointed. The food is absolutely excellent and the service fantastic. All in all it’s always a special evening.

10/10A memorable experience. It’s a small venue with a big heart! The garden is beautiful where you can sit and enjoy a drink before dinner. The food was exceptional and the service personal and attentive. An all round great evening. Well done. We will be back!

5/10We went for my husbands birthday (and a rare night out as we have two tinies). We were really looking forward to it however sadly it didn’t live up to what we were hoping. Our bread came out post starter, the steak was over cooked, the cheese was disappointing and the food was generally a bit bland. We started with two other tables but they were gone during our starter so there was no atmosphere. The best part was breakfast service being laid while we were still eating…nothing like making people feel like they’ve outstayed their “welcome”. We weren’t sure if the weetabix was part of our pudding or an after dinner surprise. The waitress though was fabulous and very apologetic. Sadly we won’t be going back.

6/10Waitress started setting out tables for breakfast while we were waiting to give our desert order. When I challenged this she told we always do it as she says it has to laid out by 10 pm as that when staff go home. We all declined pudding. To bright atmosphere needs lights turning down a tad.

Dear Ron, Thank you for taking the time to share this review, we are delighted that you enjoyed the Food but were disappointed that the setting of other tables for Breakfast impacted your evening, we are in complete agreement with you that this is not acceptable and our processes have been changed to reflect that after a couple of similar comments. Thank you for your feedback with the lighting, as one side of the Restaurant is heavily windowed as the sun goes down to darkness the lights do need adjusting, my Team now review light levels throughout the evening and adjust accordingly. 10/10What a wonderful find. Friendly service, lovely setting. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. I always feel happy with a smaller but well thought out menu which this was. Loved it all but really enjoyed the lemon tart with sorbet and berries, so glad they were not over sweetened. The jus with our main courses was glossy and perfect. We will definitely visit again.

10/10We booked a table following a recommendation from some good friends who have eaten at Ten Tables previously and had such high praise for the restaurant, so we came along to experience everything this restaurant had to offer. We arrived just before our booking and were welcomed by Sheena, our host and server, for the evening. She showed us to the lounge area and asked if we would like to enjoy a pre dinner drink and read of the menu before seating, however we opted to be seated and try the menu as soon as possible. The restaurant is simply stunning, contemporary and stylish, low lighting and amazing atmosphere. The Pond outside lit up and a lovely feature. We had our drink order taken and we're left with the menu to decide our meal. We opted for the beetroot and Stilton tart along with the pressed 3 bird terrine. Both very well presented, cooked and served. Good flavours and combinations . Our mains comprised of Confit duck leg and Bream with a vegetable and barley broth. The duck was soft, succulent and melted in the mouth, heritage carrots and braised red cabbage with a lentil jus was just amazing and perfect for the wet cold evening, the bream had crisp, golden skin and perfectly cooked. The broth was delicate and flavoursome mixed with great colours and texture. Between the welcome, the service and the atmosphere mixed with great food, the restaurant deserves the recommendations and reputation others have written about. Definitely be back for more in the future!

8/10Quite a little find so close to home! Lovely welcome. Staff extremely attentive but the atmosphere changed when a group of 11 came to dine! Wow! It was noisy. We finished our main course and fled home for coffee! Perhaps some soft furnishings would absorb the sound? We all know that large parties are noisy, so booking other tables for 2 or 4 is tough on their conversations.

9.5/10Firstly the food was delicious. Just right portions and not too heavy. Lovely friendly staff. My starter was seared scallops which were delicious and cooked just right. The restaurant is small but not too small and the home made ice creams at the end were scrumptious. Worth a visit.

9.5/10So lovely to have a really nice restaurant out of the town centre and on our doorstep. Easy to park. Food was to a high standard and although on the higher scale in terms of price, it was worth it. (Bear in mind the kitchen closes at 9pm on week days). Would return and recommend for a special event in an intimate venue.

9/10Excellent menu selection (wide ranging options for each of us). We chose Citrus cured Sea Bass and Smoked Wood Pigeon as starters followed by Roasted Cod and Pork Tenderloin - each were superbly cooked and presented. Well done to Head Chef James Haley - his Star Rosette is well deserved. The portions were large but everything was eaten! We still had space for Strawberries with clotted cream and a Coconut Mouse which were both equally delicious. The restaurant was quiet (only three of the tables were occupied) but the ambience was welcoming and relaxed. Front of house support and service was also excellent. The gardens were relaxing and would be ideal to enjoy on a warm summer’s evening (if we ever have such a thing!). We recommend coming back and bringing a group of friends to make your own atmosphere. A great find.

10/10We had a excellent meal at Ten Tables; 4 of us celebrating my sister's birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and of a high quality. The amuse bouche was superb and there was no problem catering to our fussy needs, ie no garlic on the potatoes and leaving out the shellfish on the hake main course. The service was professional and welcoming. We have no hesitation in recommending Ten Tables to our friends and family. We'll be back.

7/10Lovely location and outlook. Fantastic service. Amuse bouche was amazing and starter also lovely. . Main course very ordinary - hake with mussels and beans - didn’t really gel and too many beans. pleasant desert but 4 choices snd of those cheese not available.

We are thankful to hear you loved the Amuse Bouche and the Starter, we are sorry to hear the main wasn’t to your taste, Mussels Provençal is more rustic in its heritage. Our new Summer menu launches next week and the Hake will become Pan Roasted Cod, Garlic & Herb New Potatoes, Clams, Pickled Kohlrabi, Charred Spring Onion, Chive, Lemon and Thyme Sauce, Sea Purslane. As a result of the restaurant being closed for an exclusive wedding and new menu we are sorry the Cheese was not available. 10/10+1We would absolutely recommend Ten Tables. Daniel and his team are absolutely fabulous and the chef was able to accommodate our dietary needs so we were able to relax and enjoy a fabulous meal. The hospitality we experienced here is by far one of the best in town. We will definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

7/10I came away happy & disappointed at the same time! A surprise amuse-bouche with some warm bread rolls and selection of flavoured butter was a great start. The starter was disappointing - pork belly but thin strands with cauliflower which was the base of the amuse-bouche so cauliflower overload. The main course lamb was promised pink but didn't quite come pink. Fondant potatoes morphed into dried up roast potatoes but the jus and broccoli side were delicious. It was really close. Worth another visit for sure, but just missed the mark this time with great effort.

We have reworked the Pork Belly Starter to be one larger piece of Belly over the thinner slices, we would love for you to try it. The amuse-bouche changes frequently to the Season, this week it is Spiced Carrot, Sesame Brittle, Soy and Honey Oil and Coriander.
