10/10We arrived at the restaurant to be stood in a long queue. There was a party in who had stayed longer than expected and another large party waiting to be seated. I thought the evening would be a disaster but I couldn't be more wrong. Our table was booked for 8pm and we were seated at 8.15pm. The staff dealt with a very busy situation very professionally & efficiently. The service was fantastic. It was very busy but the service did not falter in anyway. The food was impeccable! More than impeccable. Outstanding. We had the fillet steak and more often than not I'm likely to send the steak back because it hasn't been done enough. The steak was cooked to perfection. It was beautiful. The whole meal was beyond exceptional. We had the most outstanding evening with quality service, outstanding food, heartwarming conversation, lovely ambience. A truly wonderful evening. A birthday I won't forget.
