We have never been to a vegetarian restaurant before, we are not actually vegetarian! Food was delicious and beautifully presented, so many flavours and pleasing to the eye too as you eat with your eyes. If it looks good you want to eat it!! Staff were welcoming and explained what each dish contained. Lovely experience, not a cheap one but we would recommend a visit.

10/10Food was delicious, staff were friendly and helpful. Made to feel very welcome. The ‘happy birthday’ added to my pudding dish in chocolate sauce, together with a little candle, was appreciated. Not OTT, but classy. Thank you!

4.5/10Food was good, as was service, but the wait between courses was completely unacceptable for a restaurant that was half full. The manager attempted a lame service recovery with the offer of a dessert wine each, but it did not make up for the 30 minutes between arrival and starter, 50 minutes between starter and main, and another 30 minutes between main and dessert. This was my first experience of Terre a Terre, and it will be my last.

5.5/10Terre a Terre was recommended to me as an excellent vegetarian restaurant. Sadly I felt disappointed. My Cauliflower and Za'atar starter was fine, as was the chocolate dessert. However, from the choice of 5 mains, two were based on rostis = I chose one which was basically just a rosti (which I would regard more as a side rather than a main dish) in a pool of green, slightly gritty, spinach sauce. I did not think it was worth £20.50. There are many more ways to provide an interesting vegetarian main. However, the worst aspect of my meal was the very slow service - I got the impression that this was the fault of a very slow (maybe understaffed) kitchen, rather than the waiting staff. I had to wait 45 minutes from arrival for my starter, then another half hour for my main, then another half hour for my dessert. Eking out a glass of wine for that period of time was hard! And my chair, with a hard seat pad and plywood back, was very uncomfortable for that length of time. However, I did enjoy watching the barman mixing a wide variety of cocktails.

10/10Another lovely meal at Terre a Terre. We turned up early but were welcomed to our table without delay. Service was excellent, with our waiter taking time and care to look after our son (who has additional needs) with good humour and patience. Food was delicious (as always), but we sadly didn’t have tummy space to have pudding. We will be back!

6.5/10This restaurant has not changed in many years and this is reassuring. However this also means Its a little dated. The food is excellent and the price reflects this. The ambience is pleasant but could do with a little updating. It has to be said for creative vegan and vegetarian food. You probably can’t do better than this place. All in all still a very enjoyable experience.

10/10Our Sunday lunch for four was a delight at Terre à Terre today. The service was swift and friendly and the food was delicious. It was beautifully presented and was a wonderfully creative dish for each of us.

Excellent! Lovely restaurant all round. Superb food, huge vegetarian/vegan menu, everything we had was delicious. Slightly more pricey but worth it. Great service. Would definitely visit again. Only complaint was that it was very hot inside!

2/10It was for my 60th birthday, we had been before on my husbands birthday 5 years ago, but it was so disappointing, the food was awful, the service unprofessional. It just wasn’t any thing like 5 years ago. Ruined my special evening to be honest.

We went to Terre á Terre for my birthday and it was a genuinely wonderful experience. The chef was incredibly attentive, as I have a peach allergy, and he went out of his way to assure me that everything was safe to eat. We had the mixed tapas type start and then ordered more of the fried haloumi, which was simply delicious. We are not vegetarian, but felt utterly satisfied and enjoyed everything we were served! Absolutely recommend to anyone!

10/10Long waiting time but it was Saturday night and it was busy. We were compensated with a free glass of wine which was offered before we even said anything about the waiting time. Waiter was pleasant and friendly, the food was excellent, we would definitely go back again.
