We had a lovely meal and cocktails to celebrate our daughter’s birthday - the staff were very friendly - we weren’t rushed and in fact it was a little slow trying to pay. The temperature of the restaurant appeared to drop during the evening and some customers needed to put on their coats. Overall we had a lovely experience and we will definitely return.

9.5/10The welcome was genuine and warm. We were shown to our table and left to choose from the menu but left rather a long ten mins before anyone came to take our order. The food, dishes were generous portions and delicious. We enjoyed our evening and thank you.

6/10The restaurant was cold and we were informed due to heating issues . We waited till we were shown to a different table which was reasonable . Service was way less than expected at the table ??? Staffing issues . Starters and wine was good . Crispy duck as intermediate course fell apart completely. Plum sauce was very watery and we requested chilli oil but were served something else . Overall disappointing table service . The gentleman at the door was very nice and courteous besides that nothing to enthuse an early return . This used to be a good place for dinner say has deteriorated significantly. Table wait staff can at least smile . Seems like they were not even happy to be there

6.5/10Restaurant is big and bit chilly when sat by the windows. Pleasant service. Vegetable tempura was over-battered and not particularly tasty. The red curry was lovely. My friend had the drunken noodles but found it too heavily spiced. A bit more expensive than other Thai places in the area.

10/10Good service friendly attentive staff and the resturant spotlessly clean. Food served on hot plates the actual resturant was in a very old dewelling showing of the high wooden beams. Have already recommened to others and plan to book the resturant soon.

5/10Very good service and kind staff. We revisited as we had been in previous years and had really tasty, authentic, reasonably priced food. However this time, the food was mediocre at best. The beef penang was really chewy meat and hardly any beef, starters were minimal and pretty much just deep fried. I left with a really big bill and not satisfied with the meal at all. I felt like the authenticity had disappeared sadly. I would have sent my food back but we were celebrating my husband's birthday so left it. Although the staff were lovely, I won't be returning.

4/10Extremely un-personable and unfriendly service. I eat out 3-5 times per week and have now lived in St Albans, which has an amazing food scene, for 10 years. This sadly has just never his the mark for a special, or even casual night out. The food feels rushed, the service feels non existent, and the ambience is very clinical. I have eaten here 6-7 times now, and never felt it hits the mark. I have given it a good go though and really thought after their refurbishment it would improve.

6/10Good food, but absolutely terrible service. Service slow and sporadic. Was told my dessert was not available 20 minutes after ordering, so I reordered but that was then cancelled by manager after they served the rest of the table. Manager apologised and offered to not charge the discretionary service charge. Clearly understaffing issue as other tables were left with grocery and glasses long after guests left. Been before but won’t be going back soon to this branch.

4/10A lovely building with exposed timber beams. The food served however was awful. The beef was tough. The duck and chicken was bland. The fish tasted odd. And everything was far too spicy. After a few bites my mouth was on fire and I didn't want to eat any more. Also very expensive for basic fare.

2.5/10Starter - Chicken satay was Luke warm as if it had just been warmed up. As it was chicken there was a concern it wasn’t cooked. Main course - Lamb was cooked to death! Dry and unpleasant massiman sauce was tasty but seems only to disguise the terrible over cooked meat. We left pretty much all of starters and mains and the waiters didn’t even question it. A attentive trained waiter would clearly have recognised we’ve barely eaten our entire meals and asked if we were OK. We asked for the bill, paid and left. Was surprised they had the cheek to ask if we wanted to tip.! Last rant was we were never given a knife. We found it so strange.as neither the starter or mains were delivered with a knife. Just spoon and fork.

The staff was amazing especially Ken! I had accidentally cancelled my reservation (selected the wrong button via confirmation email) and he was so accommodating on a busy night like New Years eve and managed to seat us! Thank You Ken, and the overall service and food was amazing!

2.5/10Staff didn't have any of the booking details but still got table. Waited over 1hr for maim meal to be served despite others being served after us. When questioned had to wait another 20mins. Meal came and the dishes were supposed to be spicy but the chicken was warm and no flavour. The service charge was wavered as a good will gesture!
