My husbands’ dish - cashew chicken was really good. I ordered the prawn pad thai. It was on the sweet side, but I was able to add some soy and oyster sauce which made it to my liking. Staff was very friendly and very accommodating.

After extensive testing in the area, we have decided that Thai on Thames is the finest Thai restaurant in the borough. Relaxed and stylish, expert service and the food is elegant and lively. The quality/value ratio is excellent and, if you want a really reliable restaurant meal, you will not be disappointed.

First time we have been in the restaurant. Liked the vibe with locals filling the place — glad we reserved. Food was served nicely — mine was Pad Thai in hot pan — and it was delicious.

After trying a selection of Thai restaurants in the area (many of them very good), this has become our regular due to its professionalism, excellent food and superb value. A recent article in the Independent newspaper highlighted its qualities, and we wholeheartedly agree with their positive view—the ideal neighbourhood Thai restaurant.

A fabulous hidden gem, which I haven’t been back to for quite a few years, which was fantastic. Dropped in for dinner with family and friends, hoping for some good Thai food and we had a superb meal, great service and an excellent evening. The food was exceptional and we’ll be back. Strongly recommend you book a visit if you fancy some outstanding Thai food just over the bridge from Richmond.

Really good food - not your standard Thai restaurant fare - you could tell the ingredients were good and fresh, and extra effort had been made to make the meals more than the 'usual' Thai offering. Have travelled in Thailand a lot and lived there for 6 months - these were the best flavours I've tasted in the UK. Service lovely, attentive, friendly. Manager warm and friendly too. It was fairly early in the evening which is why I haven't given five stars for ambience, but that's more about the time of the evening than anything else. If you want 5 star Thai food, I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Had jumbo prawn pad thai - prawns were huge and perfectly cooked. Chicken, chili and basil really good, served with rice and a fried egg on top, which I hadn't seen before. Great meal!! Will definitely go back.
