The Abingdon

We know The Abingdon well and love it ; always great homemade food , super friendly staff and management , great atmosphere and child friendly to boot .

Over all its just always an amazing experience. We first had our Sons first communion celebrated then decided to go last Saturday for our Daughters confirmation and its just amazing. Food was great and staff fantastic and hospitable.

The Abingdon is simply my favourite place to go out in London. The food and the people are brilliant. We go constantly and as long as we can we always will! Saz x

The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was warm and buzzy. The food, which was very tasty, and drink, arrived very quickly. We would certainly like to return there and would recommend the restaurant to friends.

Food fantastic. Service was great when it was there, but did not check in very often and difficult to get attention for drinks. But I do love this place. Pork chop amazing if you like that sort of thing.

A different and enjoyable experience. The staff was patient and courteous. I liked the variety and selection available on the menu.

Love the booth seating. The waiting staff were really welcoming and helped create a really nice relaxed atmosphere. Had a chicken with risotto dish which was delicious followed by possibly one of the best sticky toffee puddings I have ever had. Would definitely come back.

The Abingdon was excellent. Best Sunday lunch I’ve had in years. The staff were attentive and professional, and we were delighted to be able to take our little dog along with us. The staff even provided a bowl of water for our pooch. I would highly recommend The Abingdon..

Sry friendly staff bar and dining

The service was almost non existent, we had to wait a long time to get the menu after we let a member of staff know we were there, then went inside to get the menu ourselves, then had to wait again so long to actually be able to order that we left the place after having lost almost 45min of our time. Without anything to drink, not to even mention to eat. It's a shame as the last time we came to the Abingdon we had a great experience.

Black pig chop was excellent. Staff were well trained, accommodating, and entertaining. Looking forward to a return visit.
