Good authentic Portuguese food. Seafood Tapas was very well cooked, especially the octopus.
Very nice food, real fusion of Portuguese and Spanish.
Very efficient staff who knew their trade but polite and sociable. Happy to share the knowledge about the fare of Portugal. Cannot be bettered. Will revisit.
Warm service, nice atmosphere
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, lovely vibe inside. The food was very beautifully presented and tasted amazingly authentic. The Bacalhau à Brás was wonderful and the Adega King Prawns are divine. Will definitely be going again for some more Portuguese delights.
Excellent Food, the wife and I had a great meal of Tapas at this place. We got six dishes (note to self, only 5 next time) and as the portion sizes were generous, did not finish the Patatas Bravas. We also had the Tortlilla, the Almondigas, the Pork Belly, the Bacalao and the Mushroom Capuccino, all of which were excellent (especially the Mushrooms), tasty and good value for money. The staff were great too, very contentious and very friendly, providing great service. I will definitely be back...!!
Beautiful environment, great service, delicious food and good location.
Nice family-run restaurant providing excellent friendly service. The quality of the food is excellent. However, the wine is just too expensive. I expect to find a decent house wine for under £20. This would deter me from returning. We also felt the starters were a little overpriced, although the main courses were good value. The restaurant was also a little too brightly lit for our liking.
The food was wonderful and wine selection perfectly matched. Family run with a personal and friendly service you just don't get in the chain restaurants. Had a great night at The Ageda. It is a little hidden gem. Don't know why it isn't full every night.
Was looking forward to finally having a tapas place locally. Overall, was very disappointed! Found it to be expensive ( £50 pounds per head) relative to what it offered i.e. not very good value for money. We had 5 tapas with a bottle of wine and shared a plate of tarts for dessert. Enjoyed the grilled octopus and the calamari ; the custard tarts were also quite good! The staff are not trained and the service is poor! The wine glasses are thick and cheap and take away from the enjoyment of the wine! The wines are relatively expensive at £25 for the cheapest bottle of white/red wine and the prices move up rapidly thereafter.
The food was delicious. We had tapas dishes to share for a starter and these were very tasty and ranged from the traditional (frittata) to the new (mushroom capacinno), followed by a main course, which again were cooked well. The staff were very friendly and did an excellent job. Would definitely go back.
Fabulous food and fabulous service. A great new addition to Wimbledon. We will definitely be going back.
