A lovely evening; two old friends celebrating a birthday. The staff members were lovely, leaving us to chat before ordering. We both had the fishcakes which were delicious and good value. No dessert but had latte and cappuccino coffees. No complaints on food ambience on service. I realised later that evening that we'd been overcharged but rang back and am confident the (imho) accidental calculation will be put right.

This restaurant is frequently visited by my friends and their family. They speak highly of it. Unfortunately our visit with them on Sunday led to disappointment. I had the beef and wine pie. The crust, and vegetables, oh and the mash. Perfect. The beef however was tough and grisly. The 3 that had the pork belly complained that it was too fatty and not what they were expecting. I cannot speak more highly of the staff, for their service and determination to resolve the issue. It was and the celebratory meal planned for later this week will be held there as planned.

Great family meal on a Saturday night. We were served and looked after by Jordan who was excellent. Friendly, helpful and patient....he could not do enough to help us. We need more Jordan's

I took my friend for a birthday lunch , I have been before several times, the staff are really helpful and polite and the food is outstanding, my friend said that it was the best food she had eaten and would be taking her family when they come to visit Sheffield.

This was a first-time dining-out experience for my elderly mother and me following the lifting of the restrictions in May. We were not disappointed! The staff were welcoming and accommodating - mum has mobility issues. All our food and drink arrived promptly and as described. Thank you!
