6/10Lovely waitress… Thought prawn cocktail better served in glass not plate The crackling was unbreakable and rubbery so couldn’t be eaten Potatoes not nice ..seemed precooked The mini desert was lovely so was the coffee My husbands meat was tough Sorry to give a bad review but you did ask

6/10We have been to this restaurant quite a few times and have always had a good experience but this time the food was not very hot and the cauliflower cheese was not cooked. We will not be going back

4/10Nice looking pub/restaurant with very friendly staff. Unfortunately let down by the food. The starter (Brie in Breadcrumbs) was tiny for the price of £6.95 and the fish and chips was virtually inedible, the batter covering the fish was almost black and tasted burnt, the chips were probably from Iceland, they had no vinegar in stock and the main course took nearly an hour to arrive. I complained, so they took the price of the main course off the bill. An evening spoilt really.

4/10Very disappointed as food was cold and returned only to be heated up and it was fish. Creme Brule was like cold custard with no topping, no coffee available as machine was broken and no tea either. Restaurant very empty and no ambiance - will not be revisiting.

6/10The table was sticky and we waited 30mins to get our drinks. One member of staff was literally running around, the other was clearly new and didn't have a clue as to what she needed to do. Not sure we will go back, it was a very disappointing visit.

4.5/10The food was absolutely awful. Worst pub lunch I have ever had. I get that frozen food is used but it doesn’t have to taste frozen, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, chips and mushroom burger so bad we couldn’t eat them and left hungry. The server was great.

7/10Disappointed with the Prawn Cocktail starter, lettuce very ‘sad’, prawns were hiding somewhere! The Pate was cut so thin it was almost like a slice of meat.

9/10We called in for a light Saturday lunch. Our server Sam was on his ever first shift but he was really good and polite. He will be a credit to the pub. The food was good ,as ever, so we will return again.

6.5/10Very slow service ,we're shown to a table given a menu then left for 20 mins until I asked if we could order some drinks which did not arrive until I chased the order ! After that service was ok and food good.

10/10Went to lunch with my mum and sister, a rare occasion. We had a lovely lunch with good food and excellent service. Great place for a special occasion. Will definitely recommend.
