8/10The Apple Orchard is wonderful - full of quirky rooms, tasty food and great coffee. perfect for a quick or longer coffee with friends or lunch or tea - or all three! Lovely shop too to browse in as well as the post office down the road. Service was a tad slow when we last visited but surely a blip as always so good .

4.5/10Nice enough woman who owns the cafe. It was our first time there. No one greeted us on entering.. We had to find our table which had been reserved on line. The owner came over & cleared our table before we could sit down. I mentioned it was our 1st time but we were left. I thought someone would come out & serve us. I had to go out to the front to find out what was going on. I was told we had to order our food there. Had the woman told us when we were shown our table we wouldn't have been left wondering when someone was going to come & take our order. We also had to ask for a menu. Lots of cobwebs around the window cills & ceiling which really put us off. I said to my friend I dare not use the loo because if it was dirty then I wouldn't want to eat there. It just didn't feel clean. Such a shame as the woman seemed friendly but doesn't have a clue as to how to interact with her customers. The gift shop owner was very nice and he has some nice things but we won't be returning.

5/10Waited 50 mins for a sandwich. Food nice but not cheap. Waitresses looked as though they just wished they weren’t there. Not very friendly and one in particular just totally miserable. Ambience was lovely but won’t come again.

10/10This little cafe is so welcoming with a great lunch menu full of variety. Staff are welcoming and efficient, great use of space amongst the little rooms for seating and a late reservation was still accepted and clearly reserved. Thank you - will come again

6.5/10The food was delicious. However, the service less so. I booked a table for my husband's 60th birthday. His food came on time and he said was delicious. Mine came later and wasn't what I had ordered. I then waited 25 mins for mine to arrive.He had finished his lunch, and had cake by the time mine arrived. . The food was delicious when it arrived. I did have an apology and an offer of a free drink or cake, but I really didn't want to eat on my own. The normally is a lovely poo lace to eat, but I'm afraid you really let yourself down this time. I will think twice about booking anything special again.

10/10We have been going to the Apple Orchard for many years and always find the staff very friendly and the food scrummy, one of the top places to go for a coffee and cake or light lunch and always have a mooch downstairs after for a card or gift from the gift shop!

10/10Lovely little place. Lady in shop went above & beyond helping my disabled Dad into place to celebrate his 99th birthday. Different soups that were very tasty. Lovely polite helpful staff

8.5/10THE BEST COFFEE SHOP CAKES EVER AND A GOOD SANDWICH. HOWEVER THE SERVICE NEEDS TO BE QUICKER. 50MINS FOR 4 TOASTED SANDWICHES IS TOO LONG. ALSO ONE SANDWICH CAME 10 MINS AFTER, SO 60 MINUTE WAIT. PLEASE MOVE THE KITCHEN TO A BIGGER ROOM! THE STAFF ARE LOVELY AND THE FOOD IS GOOD, BUT THE WAIT IS TERRIBLE, THIS HAS HAPPENED TO US TWICE NOW.

7/10Our first visit to this establishment. Beautiful building, good food, but there was something missing in the cafe. The welcome wasn't as warm as I'd expected and it lacked atmosphere. Background music might help.

10/10I went with my sister-in-law for lunch. We both had the tomato and red pepper soup with a multi seeded roll and shared a tuna melt. The ambience was relaxing, the surroundings both inside and out were beautiful and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and you are allowed to take your dogs in with you. We had a thoroughly great experience. I suggest you book a it gets busy even on a Monday.

6/10We precooked a table but decided to sit outside as we had the dog with us . Ordered coffee which was brought out to us , great 👍🏻 .We then placed a lunch order at 1.10pm ,and at 1.40 I had to chase it up ,as people after us had recieved their orders , I think we had been forgotten as the staff had to request what our order had been ( it had been paid for on ordering ) .. At 2pm my husband had to return to the car as our parking was about to expire ,so we ended up having to take away which was not really how we had planned lunch after a lovely walk in the morning .

8/10Nice food and friendly staff. Only gave 4 stars because we had booked and then were asked to share a table. This was resolved, but a little awkward. Could do with clearer signs for the car park for those unfamiliar with the area.

10/10The whole experience was wonderful 🤩 my friend tried the apple mince pie, after asking the staff if it was like a traditional mince pie with apple in and it most certainly was! She would definitely recommend this 🤣 thank you
