7.5/10Soup was cold when arrived at the table, also no veg or potatoes included in the meals and they weren't offered as extras, we had to ask what was included in our meals and then add extras that would normally be included. eg chips with a burger, potatoes and veg with the vegan celeriac steak.

8.5/10The food is always good quality but the self-service ordering takes away the restaurant experience.

9/10I go to The Ashton quite often and enjoy my meal there. It is especially nice to visit in the winter when the large log fire is lit. Outside has a number of tables which on a warm summers day and evening is nice to enjoy a meal/drink.

8/10Friendly attentive staff. Busy evening and slowish service. One starter arrived late and needed a reminder. Steaks were good but asparagus was burnt. The Ashton remains one of my top 5 'go-to' restaurants.

8/10Staff friendly, food good, service a tad slow with drinks but we're perhaps understaffed for a football match day? Felt safe and tables well spacef

10/10Staff were friendly and very attentive. The food was so yummy with lots of choice available - even for a vegan apart from starters. The only option was olives which they had run out of. It didn't matter as we prefer puddings and we know they're always tasty here! Thank you

10/10We had a family birthday celebration, the Ashton was very helpful. We had a very enjoyable evening with good food and friendly service, in a nice atmosphere. The menu had many option and the quality was good.

6/10Staff friendly. Menu a little disappointing - no lunchtime lite bite like soup and a roll. Also thought the cost of a small glass of Pepsi was a little excessive. Nice surroundings.
