We had the buffet for after the England game. It was £39 each and it was not worth that at all. The pad Thai station was bland the pasta station was unmanned and the only other choices were the worse salad bar i have ever seen and a measly pulled pork roll. Shame on you for such a bad experience. Not what I have come to expect from a Hilton hotel.
WE VISITED AFTER THE ENGLAND GAME ON SATURDAY EVENING AND EXPECTED TO HAVE THE NORMAL MATCH DAY BUFFET WHICH WE HAVE HAD MANY TIMES IN THE PAST AS A PRE MATCH BUFFET. THE CHOICE WAS VERY VERY POOR INDEED AND THE SALAD BAR - THE STARTER - WAS ALMOST NON EXISTENT. AS A SALAD BAR IT WAS I THINK THE WORST I HAVE BEEN OFFERED ANY WHERE IN THE WORLD FOR THE PRICE AND WAS AN INSULT AND DONE ON THE CHEAP TO OBVIOUSLY SAVE MONEY - THE LOCATION OF THE BAR WAS A JOKE. THE MAIN COURSE CHOICE WAS AGAIN POOR AND OBVIOUSLY DONE TO SAVE MONEY. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE CHOICE OF ROAST, VEG ETC WHICH HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE CASE IN THE PAST. THE PULLED PORK BURGER WAS SLUSHY PORK WITH ROLL, THE CHOICE FROM THE WOK WAS NOT VERY APPETIZING AT ALL WITH VERY LIITLE CHICKEN AND ONLY THREE PRAWNS PRESENT IN THE STIR FRY. THE ONLY DESSERT WAS ICE CREAM FROM A MACHINE WITH A BIT OF FRUIT TO CHOSE FROM. ALL IN ALL NOT WORTH THE APPROX. £40 PER HEAD CHARGE. THE COUPLE ON THE TABLE NEXT TO US GOT UP AND WALKED OUT REFUSING TO BE CONNED WHICH WE CLEARLY WERE. BELIEVE ME IT WON’T HAPPEN AGAIN - WE WILL EAT ELSEWHERE UNLESS HILTON GO BACK TO WHAT ALWAYS WAS A VERY GOOD PRE/ POST MATCH BUFFET.
.
Friendly & helpful service. Good variety on the menu. The goats cheese coated with crushed pistachio served with pear puree was OUTSTANDING! Great location as we were going to the arena to see Jack Savoretti, literally next door. Also all hotel staff so friendly & helpful. Afterwards we were able to go back to hotels rooftop bar for a nightcap which was lovely with outside tables & great views
We’ve eaten a number of times at this Restaurant before a concert and it has always been wonderful. Not this time. Service was slow, food average, menu has changed, An £8 bottle of wine served for just under £40! Given the whole area is being redeveloped and new places to eat are opening, they should be improving the experience, now making us look elsewhere.
Very nice relaxed meal while waiting for my daughter at a concert at the Wembley Arena, Food and service both very good.
Food very good Service, slow , attention to detail lacking
Service was slow and we had some drinks forgotten about. Our plates weren't taken away for ages after we had finished our meals. The food quality was standard. I would say only slightly better than a Wetherspoons. The atmosphere was pleasant and the table was in a nice position by the window. I would definitely not go back unfortunately. All the staff could speak and understand moderate English.
Service and food were fabulous
