10/10The restaurant has a lovely ambience. Plenty of parking and a welcoming reception. The service was attentive and knowledgable, especially excellent when understanding my allergies. Great food and a fab evening. Would recommend highly.

6/10The menu has plenty on it to choose from but the food was bland, we all (6) choose different meals and 5 of them tasted bland. Disappointing really.

10/10Fabulous service and attention, first class waitress, gorgeous food and reasonably priced. Our seating preference was auctioned as one of our party is in a wheelchair so all in all a lovely experience for us all.

5/10Very disappointing. Waited about 50 mins for food even though it was not busy. While waiting we had to send a drink back as the glass was dirty. When food arrived they were tiny portions. Jus “as they called it” was definitely “ahhh bisto” with a tiny bit of flavouring added. Lasagne tasted like it was made with tinned Bolognese, both bisto and tinned Bolognese being tastes from childhood, were easy recognisable. Unfortunately, will not be returning. Food, in my opinion, was well below average.

10/10We haven't been to the Badger since before lockdown. We were not disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and food was very good. The friends we were with hadn't been to the Badger for sometime and were very impressed. We will certainly be back again soon.

8.5/10Our group (4 ladies ) was well pleased with our food and particularly praised the onion rings & chips. The only minor criticism was that we had to request the wine glasses be re-polished.

6/10Food was so so which was disappointing. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive and I had to ask 5x for a glass of water. I was sad because I have always been pleased in the past and used to visit a lot when I lived more locally

8/10Staff were welcoming. I would describe The Badger as Oldie worldly, clean and comfortable. Our servers were lovely, service was timely. Food was ‘nice’ but I thought main was overpriced for the portion size. Was served in a soup bowl yet sweet with custard was served on a large plate making it difficult to eat. We sat at the table quite a while following receiving the bill, eventually going to the bar to pay. We may return to try the Sunday dinner, as they had ran out of dinners the day we visited.

5/10The food was generally very disappointing. I ordered calamari to start and we received 7 pieces the size of popcorn. For £6.95. It was chewy and at £1 per bite, very poor value for money. The side salad with the main was also very disappointing and unimaginative. Chips were pasty and almost inedible. If we produced a meal of this quality at home we would bin it and start again. On the positive side the serving staff were very good. Attentive and friendly. A complete mismatch with the quality and value of food served up. Please give the servers a big pat on the back but the cook (certainly not a chef) needs some serious retraining.

10/10Staff were very welcoming, they explained the signing in regulations. There was no pressure to make a quick decision about the menu. The young lady serving us was very professionnel but had a very good sense of humour with helped to make our celebration very special.

6.5/10Staff were pleasant, dinner veg was a bit hard! Parsnip was raw, would prefer round plate as felt unable to eat food as I would normally! Had to move food round plate and made it hard to eat!! Meat was lovely
