The bar was completely empty and they were still cleaning it so the stairs were wet. Ridiculously overpriced drinks (£46 for 3 x cocktails and a glass of wine). I know this is London but just crazy.

Good drinks. Nice decor. Very disappointing service. Needs a manager on site to keep people in line. Will go back as the potential of the place is huge.

a hidden gem of a restaurant. The Green Curry I had was so delicious and the cocktails were amazing. The service and attention to detail was lovely as well and the way the restaurant had been decorated was so well done, could easily have thought I was on a Pacific Island. A lovely way to end the day with a beautiful meal

Beachcomber is far more a bar than a restaurant. We had the mixed starter plate. Everything on it had been fried (menu didn't say so) in the same type if batter - even the prawns, which the menu said would be coated in panko. The curry and rice dish came as a soup with rice beside it. The beef and basil dish was lacking in flavour. The server said that they had only one brand of beer in stock, even though the menu showed three (which is none too many).

The bar is actually a really nice place but the food I had was disgusting, came out cold,service could have been better,didn't feel very welcome. The only thing I would go bCk for would be the drinks,and ambiance. As I'm a mystery shopper I'm glad this wasn't one of my jobs to judge .

Booked online and were expecting to have food so arrived at 7 as we thought we would eat and then enjoy the dj and have a dance. We were seated given a drinks menu and I had to ask about food. They said that they no longer serve food. There was no mention of this on the website and it was so disappointing. We ordered our drinks and they were nice. There was no music at all. The place itself is really quirky and I'm sure is amazing later on but we had to leave and go find another restaurant to eat at and by the time we had found one got a seat there, there was just no point of returning to the beachcomber. I booked this especially for my cousins 40th and if I had known about the no kitchen service I would have booked a later table so we could have actually enjoyed the night I had planned. Instead we had a big standard meal and then had to go all the way back to our hotel and travel home today.

Great service, great cocktails. Didn't get to try any Agricoles this time but will definitely come back for a few in a future visit. Alex was a star. :)
