Service was very slow. Sat for 50 mins between our starter and main. Only offered 1 drink the whole 2 hours we were there. We only had a starter and a main as there was no time for us to have a dessert due to plans made for later in the day and length of time it took for them to bring our food. Food was great though.

The food was wonderful as usual. Only negative was the attitudes of a man and woman who pulled onto the car park as I was leaving and literally just stopped and parked their vehicle in the middle of the entrance / exit route as cars were coming in and getting out. At first I thought they may have not realised it was not a space so I very politely said this to them as they were causing an obstruction and was basically shouted at by both of them that it didn’t matter where they parked as they had the right to as they were the owners. If this was the case then I’m afraid they won’t be having any further custom from me as their behaviour was appalling. I will be trying to find out if they are the owners and if so I will not be going there again and will take mine and my colleagues custom elsewhere. All the other staff were lovely do it’s a real shame.

Reception upon arrival poor- no staff at reception & 3 staff behind bar only interested in washing glasses yet 9 of us were waiting to be seated. Meal & service when seated both good. Chosen wine not available & chosen pudding all gone. A pleasant enough meal for a birthday outing.

I have just come back from an enjoyable meal at The Bell. The food was nice and fresh and the service was friendly. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and overall it was a great place to meet a couple of friends for Dinner.

It’s a long time since we have been to The Bell. The service in this place made our visit more enjoyable, our waitress Jayne had a very pleasant personality, she was most attentive in a busy room. The starter of King prawns and smoked salmon was compromised by the small jars it was served in. Rather pricey.
