9/10My soup was excellent as was the Sea Bream. The glass of Italian Red was very pleasant. The Ladies provided a good service. Can I recommend that you insist on patrons not making calls on speaker phone? we were disturbed by this.

10/10Beautiful location, but the menu online was different to what we were shown on the day. We don't agree with adding a service charge to the bill, as this should be a personal choice, rather than stating it was a "discretionary" choice. It's embarrassing to say that you'd rather not pay a service charge.

7.5/10Swift, courteous & efficient service. Food very well presented. Fish croquettes contained too little fish. Noise levels made conversation quite hard.

9.5/10It is an enjoyable dining experience pre theatre entertainment. We have eaten in the Brasserie many times and have been consistently pleased with the standard of catering and service. The convenience of the venue by the theatre also plays a part in making the visit a pleasure.

9/10Food as always was excellent. Service was very good - efficient and personable staff, timing was great as we were a large group but were all served our food at the same time. Even got a sharper knife for the beef without asking but could have done with both spoon and fork for pudding.

6/10The starter came out very quickly and was cold and dry- had obviously been plated beforehand. The main chicken was also dry. I was disappointed as it was a special evening (Valentine’s) and was looking forward to it as my other experience of eating in the Brasserie had been excellent before. The service was very good, but very quick and didn’t lend itself to a relaxing dining experience.

9/10Hi. As usual the food and service yesterday was slick and delicious. However, the only reason I gave the food for rather than five stars, is that the three of us who had the treacle felt it was too rich. I think the chef must have used molasses sugar or treacle in it, and to be honest , in our opinions, this spoilt it. I realise chefs are always aiming to update a traditional recipe but in this instance I don’t think it worked. It is a pudding one hardly ever has nowadays and the good old-fashioned golden syrup one we think is by far the better option. However thank you for a delicious meal, I wish all restaurants were a slick in their service as you, it is always a treat to come and have a meal with you before a matinee. 9/10Very enjoyable, tasty meal. Served very quickly, so think it had been plated and kept warm. Needless to say, the food was not hot. Had to eat quickly so that it did not go cold. If we have booked a show, we usually go to The Brasserie for lunch. Two more shows coming up, so will reserve a table.

5/10Mediocre food in soulless surroundings. Service was efficient and completely devoid of any personality. The vegetables were quite nicely cooked, somehow the beef had no texture at all, nor did the fondant potato. Just a bland experience really.

8/10Last visit, appears they had less staff on duty. Normally really quick service, but after they asked us I we wanted Pudding, they would get the menu. Sat there no one came near our area, so eventually we just asked for the bill. Still good standard of food though.

10/10We enjoy the Brasserie at CFT for three good reasons: the food is good quality and very well presented; the ambience is always pleasant; and most importantly the service is excellent. Young staff are uniformly charming and helpful; service is prompt, but without making diners feel hurried or harassed. A very good experience all round.

9.5/10Lovely menu. Only let down by the speed of service - being too fast!! If you order nibbles, I don't expect them to arrive with the starter. Also if have allowed 2 hours before the start of the play, do not want to speed through the first 2 courses and then have to deliberately slow the pace right down so not hanging around for over half an hour with nothing to do. Having said that, it is still a fantastic experience and the food quality is excellent. The waiting staff are all friendly. Criticism is just a minor niggle!!
