The Butcher Bhoy

Unfortunately the food was warm not hot & I didn't like the taste of the chicken very much. The side dish of macaroni cheese wasn't even that edible & it was cold. After that I felt the other side dishes (coleslaw & a tomato salsa?) were a bit too risky to try being an uncooked item. I felt really at risk from the virus whilst there which was a shame because I couldn't relax, so any ambience was lost on me if there was any. They seated a group of men who were obviously not from the same household right next to us, which was thoughtless because it was obvious we were a couple observing the rules & just out to get a change of scenery. I personally will not go here again. I hate to be hard on a place at such an awful time but please guys up your game a bit for your customers sake.

We went here after seeing adverts on Facebook for all you can eat ribs and wings. The portion size was excellent and the chips and the macaroni cheese were great. However the quality of the ribs was not good - I've eaten at other places (will not mention) where the ribs are tender and of good quality - these were not that and were quite tough. Also the chicken wings - the hot sauce was quite bitter and the wings had not been cooked for long enough to be tender. A lot of food was served - the quality of the kitchen was lacking. It was a shame as the staff were super helpful and really accommodating and it's a nice place to eat.

Wow !!!!! The staff were incredibly! The food was awesome!!! Brilliant atmosphere!! And the management and staff surprised us with complimentary bottle of bubbly and cake as I proposed to my man on the 29th February 2020 being a leap year xxx He said yes !!! ?? Would highly recommend this place xxx thank you Butcher Bhoy Pub xxx Fantastic value as you get lots for your money.

What an amazing place, full of atmosphere. Friendly attentive staff. We ordered from the butchers block, which was a great experience Just choose your cut of steak and the butcher cuts it to your required thickness. It’s then cooked to perfection and served with your chosen sides. Will definitely be revisiting

The best roast ever!!

First I would like to say that Butcher Boy has been fantastic but unfortunately this time was absolutely terrible. As soon as the main dishes came to the table, I could tell something was very different. I had the brisket which usually melts in your mouth due to the tender and very taste meat. This was a big chunk of really tough meat. My toddler loves the brisket also but it was way too tough for her to chew. The brisket was also cold. My family also complained that there meet was tough and very cold. The cabbage was almost raw, the roast potatoes which I didn't personal have, had no crunch and tasteless. I did ask the waiter what had happened to the food as it was very bad, he said chef was away on a climbing expedition. I would personally not serve food as the chef they contracted in needs to go and train at cooking school or take on the roll of an apprentice. It was the most disappointing birthday meal form sister and my partner.

Great service, delicious steak and very reasonable prices.

My wife and I had the best steaks ever cooked absolutely perfect. That's the second time we have eaten their .the staff are so friendly and helpful . The acts they have on are brilliant. We can't recommend the butcher bhoy enough Thank you and well done .keep it up Thanks steve and donna whitear

The food is SO good, really full of flavour and cooked to perfection. 10 for value in price. We will be coming again soon. Our favourite was Temple Bar bit now you guys top it. The one thing I would complain is the ladies toilets did need a good clean all round and no toilet roll was annoying in one of the cubicles.
