Tremendous food and the service in the main was excellent however only one member of the staff let a fantastic team down. We would definitely return and recommend the dining experience.

Review forWaitress : slow and lack service,look depressed and stressful. Show face Review for the food : cheap and poor quality food ingredient , presentation horrible. The 4th course is Tomato with cream sauce. Seriously tomato as 1 of the course. £49 six course: No worth Wine pairing £30 no worth for all new world wine. And Red wine Malbec from Argentina is oxidation Will never ever return. Highly not recommended,if you choose to go ,Good luck for you. Your mouth will hate you,your pocket will hate too.

Completely bad service, orders didn’t come or at the wrong time. Too many people to serve at one time. And the he staff was not able to handle the mistakes. Food was tasty except the vegetarian risotto, but barley warm. Cave! Tourist nap trap.

We were very pleased with the food. The service was truly outstanding. The hostess and servers were kind patient attentive and accurate despite a full house. They were truly professional. We had a very nice evening!!

Ambiente claustrofóbico. Restaurante num porão, mesas muito próximas. Cobram a água, o quê é incomum aqui na Escócia. Foi o único restaurante em q fui na Escócia onde a água é cobrada. Outro fato incomum e desagradável é q a taxa de serviço já veio na conta. Na viagem de 20 dias pela Irlanda e Escócia, almoçando e jantando diariamente em restaurantes, foi a única vez q me impuseram o valor da gorjeta. A comida é ok. Mas, valor não vale o preço. Restante muito caro pelo q oferece. Não indico.

Enjoyed most of our food, starter each and then my wife had trout which she said was good and I had the venison...very tough to cut even with a steak knife and very chewy , I didn’t enjoy it at all. Staff were busy and efficient.

Tasty food, friendly and efficient service plus a buzzing atmosphere. We had a great time sampling the taster menu with the wine pairing and felt it was great value for money too. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Good service, food average. Prices ok however £4.95 for a bottle of water is OTT. Our table was next to the upper level so our eye level view on one side was the feet of the couple at their table, inches away. Overall it was ok but unlikely to return.

Excellent service and quality of food. If you're in Edinburgh make sure you go here. £123 for 3 course meal 1 cocktail, 2 beers and 1 whiskey and includes 10% gratuity.

We made a reservation based on the reviews. The service was terrible. This was the 1st time a server placed water glasses on the table and did not bring any water for the entire meal. My Risotto was so crunchy and undercooked it had to be sent back. The best part of the evening were the cocktails. Overall not worth the money and frustration

The food was excellent and the wait staff were attendant to our needs. The restaurant was quite noisy (thanks to a group of over-indulged fellow Americans), so our host was careful to place us where we have a conversation where we could hear each other. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant was in fact in a cellar, therefore the windows did not provide any view to mention. I sat by a staircase and had to kick in the door to the toilet. But the staff was very attentive and helpful. The food was good as well so overall a good grade.
