9.5/10Excellent food as always. Our waiter, Ben, was very helpful. Our 7th visit and we will be back again. Have introduced 4 sets of friends and they all enjoyed the experience.

9.5/10Visited before a concert at Symphony Hall. Tried many things all with great flavours. Everyone was super helpful as it was our first time tying Sri Lankan food. Would recommend!

10/10Last minute booking for an a level result celebration- can’t fault the service- really fun people who cared about our experience, cocktails were in the whole lovely (not so the espresso martini) and the food was excellent- really good service and we will be back!!!

9/10We had a lovely meal at Coconut Tree, the portions are very generous for small plates and the food is tasty. Unfortunately my European palate couldn’t handle the spice of some dishes but that was all on me!

10/10This is an absolute gem of a place! The food was amazing and as vegetarians it’s such a struggle to get a really nice meal, but this place knocked it out of the park! We are so glad we booked it whilst on a trip to Birmingham. Staff were fantastic too. This is well worth a visit!

4.5/10I booked for the table with 50% off deal - only to find out that the portions size was 50%off too .... If it wasn't reduced portion then I would say it is quite expensive for what you are getting... It was really busy and the room layout is a bit funny shape so it is hard to get attention from serving staff so after waiting for a while to pay a bill (table allocated for 1.5 hours) so we have to walk up to the bar counter to pay. I noticed we were charged for service. Staff were friendly and polite. Food was ok - chicken wing was good. Curry was not what I expected- maybe it is authentic. I was expecting a bit of sauce (may be it was meant to be dry curry) I must stress that the place was jam packed although it was Monday. It appears to be very popular and it is a good location. There are a lot of good things I can say about the restaurant. it just wasn't what I expected and wasn't my taste. But everyone is different. I am still glad that I tried this restaurant because I was curious.
