10/10Loved everything about the restaurant! Atmosphere is great but the food is out of this world. I cannot believe how good their vegan dishes were especially the Jackfruit wings.Will be visiting again very soon.

2/10Cocktails were not as shown as the description... just very simple and taste bitter than usual... The food came late near 1h after ordering... the food was so heavy in taste and pricy... not recommended at all

9/10First time in Cheltenham, wife and I found The Coconut Tree online and thought to check it out - perfect decision. Arrived to a completely full restaurant and had to book for a later time. Returned and the reception was great. Table was set up for us, we got advice on our orders - how portions were served and encouraged to try the hoppers as first timers which we did. The "beach boy" was quite good, the food very well made, and enjoyable. Ambience was good too, wifey had some lovely photos. Overall experience was excellent and we would 💯 return to Chektenham if only for The Coconut Tree!

6/10First server was amazing! She was very friendly and professional. Then the food only half the food came out. Some of us had the curry and no sides and some of us had the sides and no curry! Half an hour later we had everything but what we got first was cold or eaten! When asking where the food was the second server roled his eyes! Then he was at the bar drinking his drink whilst we are sat waiting! Food was tasty but a ridiculous way to serve food and terrible customer service! We will not return again!

10/10This was our first trip to TCT. It was our 25th Wedding anniversary, so we wanted to try a new place with some good food and ambience, and TCT was a great find! If you are not that familiar with Sri Lankan food, this is a good place to go to try some new cuisine. TCT had a good selection of dishes but not too many to make your head spin, and the staff were very helpful. Much of the food has some spice to it, ranging from mild to very hot (we did not try that) and coconut figures in pretty much everything. Also, there is an equal split between vegan and meats so something for everyone, I would certainly recommend the prawn curry. Also, they have a good selection of cocktails and with the well-selected music and ambient lighting, it was a lovely few hours. I would recommend booking via 'TheFork' as, through summer, they have a 50% off for food, which includes this restaurant. I would advise planning to go between 6-7pm as it gets pretty busy from 7pm.

6/10Got whisked through an empty ground floor to a very cramped, hot and noisy 1st floor. Basic drinks order seemed to have overwhelmed the system - beer came in 2 mins and other drinks took multiple reminders and then was wrong - we asked for sparkling water for the table and got one glass with a single straw. Food was good but coffees again seemed an impossible task with two coffees string nearly 10 mins apart. Overall great food and really poor service - waitress was great but let down by failings elsewhere.

10/10I love the food here - such a good range of meat and veggie options. The staff are lovely, service is excellent and although not cheap the food is good value for the quality. I gave a medium rating for sound as I don’t like loud music. But accept that many do. I keep coming back so the music doesn’t stop me but I’d prefer it a few decibels lower.

9/10in | Dinner | £20–30 We had the most fantastic meal here last nights, unfortunately we were sat out of the main restaurant so didn't really experience vibrant atmosphere. Nevertheless the service was good, the drinks were beautiful and the food was sensational. We will be visiting our local restaurant in Birmingham. Try this place you won't be disappointed. Thank you. 10/10Fantastic food, great atmosphere and excellent service. Little bit pricey, limited choice of non alcoholic drinks but very irritating communication requesting verification of booking i.e. after making the initial booking I received 3 more emails and a phone call at 8.30 on a Friday morning asking me to confirm we were going to attend
