6.5/10The main courses chosen were excellent, nicely presented and very tasty. However we chose Lemon Meringue Pie for desert and sadly cannot report the same. What was served could not be described as Lemon Meringue Pie, it was served in what we assume were purchased pastry cases with a broken up purchased meringue baskets on top of fresh cream. We had to return the desert uneaten. Such a shame, let the establishment down.

7/10The food was good and the young lady serving me was also very good. But when it came to the desserts, 2 adults with 2 children, there wasn't a kid menu. When we picked the desserts, the cost would have been over£30. Desserts aren't like main meals, where there is a bit of skill, cut a bit of cake, a blob of ice cream. I said no, and we then went to the local shop and brought a dessert for all of us for£7.

8.5/10Great place for a Sunday roast or a meal with family/friends. A lovely pub with cosy spaces surrounded by the countryside - you can go for a walk in the wilderness after your meal, through the car park. Daisy’s service was absolutely lovely - we went with kids and she had the smile, patience and know-how required with little people. The food was good, we got the Sunday roast for 2 people and the chocolate volcano dessert - a little treasure garnished with cherry compote. Great!

9/10Great pub just outside Flitwick. Service was very efficient and friendly. The food is good too. They might want to consider more staffing in the kitchen for those busy times.
